This comes packaged in handy little nylon bag. this helps keep everything together and dust free - also means it is so easy to store such a seasonal item.Once unpacked I was surprised to find this actually operates of a power bank - I fully expected it to be battery operated. This means that you can also use it as a power source for mobile devices as well. This is a stunningly good idea, especially if you have this on for a walk in the winter months, never be caught out without a working phone again and know you can easily heat yourself up.Operation is surprisingly simple - once you figure out what they mean. The gilet has an inside pocket to hold your power bank and this has a USB connector inside that hooks the heating elements up. So plug it in, turn your power bank on and off you go. The instructions state to press the "start" button - yeah, it took me much longer than I would like to admit to figure out that the "start button" is actually the little rubberised Hennchee logo on the front of the jacket. Once you have successfully turned it on there are three temperature settings:Blue - Body TemperatureWhite - WarmRed - HotTo be fair the gilet is really warm just on it's own and although you can feel the heating elements through the fabric and stuffing it is comfortable. However, I did find the sizing to be a little on the smaller side. I am a size 20UK and generally a men's XXL fits me very comfortably. However, this does have a really snug fit and although I could zip it up it was tighter than I prefer to wear (even if I didn't feel like I was going to burst the zipper or a seam).This is going to be a life saver when I am night shifts as our office is notoriously cold in the winter, even when we get the space heaters out.

This is a lightly padded sleeveless vest that has heating elements built in. The vest looks much the same as a normal padded sleeveless body warmer, so no one will be aware that you have your own central heating built in.The vest itself is soft and lightweight, it has light padding inside which in itself would keep you warm even without using the heating elements. The vest appears well made with no dodgy stitching that I could detect. The front is secured via a long zip, it has 2 x deep zipped pockets on the sides with a single zipped pocket on the inside. The inside pocket is used to house the 12000 mAh power pack that heats the vest. There should be enough power to heat the vest for up to 10 hours on the lowest setting, the claimed times are as follow: High = 4 hours, Medium = 6 hours, and Low = 4 hours. The power button is situated on the chest area so heating can be switched on or off as required.The power bank looks much the same as any other power bank, so I'm sure you could take a few spare power banks along if out for a few days?We are still in summer at the time of this review so I'm unable to say how effective this is, but the vest certainly heats up when the battery pack is powered on. I have several heated jackets and have always purchased a size up from what i normally am and this proved to be the case with this jacket too. It's something to be aware of should you wish to buy. It is comfortable to wear and lightweight. The battery life is in-line with what is advertised, I used in at the lowest setting on a very early ride out on my motorcycle and it was more than enough to keep the chill off of my body. It comes with all the necessary leads and charging cables.At the current price of £199.99 it does seem a little on the expensive side though but other tan that it works as advertised and as I've said, it is very comfortable.

This is a really nice body warmer. It fits nice and comfortably and is a good length too as sometimes they can be a bit short but this one seems to cover my backside a bit better. The jacket is lightweight to wear but also snuggly at the same time. It is perfect for spring/autumn without the heated elements but when you get to the colder months it is nice to have the choice to keep even warming by plugging in the power pack and heating the jacket up. This jacket will be perfect for cold mornings or if you’re standing around watching sports in colder weather. I have knocked a star off as I do think it is perhaps a bit expensive at £119.99.

Arrives in a plastic bag, carefully packed.This comes with a power bank, a good powerful battery, a little heavyThere is a cable which plugs in to the power bank and you then pop the power bank in to an inner pocket, switch on and wait for the heat, which comes pretty quickly.You have heat setting, high, medium and low, the button is on the front, all worked well and thought the heat was good even on low.This is a nice gilet, not the most fashionable one, but this is the one that’s going to keep me warm on the market when the cold winter months arrive.I would suggest going a size bigger, as you’ll probably have layers on when wearing this.This is really effective, the warmth it gives is an amazing, if you have to be working or walking in the cold, this is worth a look, keeps us lovely and warm on the markets.Price is a little high, priced at just under £120, it does however do a lovely job

Got this as a gift for my dad as he works outside. Will be ideal for winter. Good quality comes in a good carry case
