Haven't had any issues with this drone like the last one we had. This one takes off straight up in the air. Love the headless vs head on option for controlling the drone. I'd say having headless off is easier. Love the different colors allows you to know which side is the front. Makes it so much easier. I bought the biggest size one and we love it. The size is nice with the beautiful lights to choose from. Feel like this one is safer than the other drones to for kids. My 8 year old control's it great and all the kids love it. Even our little 1 year old gets a kick out of it; just have to supervise and teach how to use the emergency stop when necessary. The dogs even like it to. Couldn't ask for better. The lights are spectacular. The charge isn't bad either. Much better than previous ones. Plus you get two batteries and can charge the one while using the other one for longer fly time. Can't wait till it warms up and we take it outside. The kids are going to get a blast out of that. Might be a good start for kids to have free range in the air to learn how to control the thing without stuff getting in the way. Maybe we can even let our 4 year old fly it outside.... maybe we'll see. Anyway love it. Get this one.

This drone is really fast and might be a little hard for a beginner to operate. The lights are a nice attraction. It has covered props so flying it indoors and near people isn't a concern. Other similiar drones like the Holy Stone 210 are much slower on their slowest setting so if you need a slower drone to start with then this lighted drone might not be for you. But if you are a fast learner or have some experience ths one is good. The battery life is reduced with the lights on but I leave the lights on and it flies long enough on one battery to be satisfactory. You get 3 batteries and they do recharge pretty quickly.

Difficult to fly. Any type of wind will blow it away from you big time. They need to make the controls easier to use very difficult. I definitely do not recommend it for a child. I've let all my grandchildren try to play with it and within 10 minutes they are ready to put it up. Definitely not easy too. Take off fly bad purchase

Bought this for my 4-year-old son on his birthday and he absolutely loves it!

Would have given this a 5 star if the wires inside the battery didn’t break on my first use.Regardless, very simple product. Can get up in the sky very quickly. Happy with that.Wanted to get this for my 3 year old and I was happy that it was easy to figure out!!

This drone is sweet! Definitely worth the money and it does flips and it's just a perfect little drone very easy to operate this is my sons 1st drone and he loves it
