Revmega DOT Brake Bleed Kit for Avid, Sram, Formula, Hayes, Bengal, FSA, Nutt - Fluid Not Included

While I'm sure the plastic fittings keep the cost down, there's going to be some long-term consequences of using this repeatedly. That plastic, when screwed into the aluminum of the bleed ports, is going to eventually wear down. Don't buy this is you're looking for a long-term solution.However, it does get the job done. Maybe spend a few extra bucks to get something that's not entirely plastic.

Ok price for a one time use tool, unless you want to reuse again and again I suggest buy a kit with metal fittings. The plastic fittings can not handle the stress of the syringes hanging from them, and the treads are very soft.

I wish they had a better description of some the parts that are included in the kit. The quality of the kit is very good with metal in stressed parts and thick plastic for the other parts of the syringe.

The kit works, it does the job. Great syringe quality. Just be careful with the plastic screws when connecting to metal on the bicycle or you can potentially strip the threads in the process (plastic on metal).

Good quality kit brought down by terrible seals on where the syringe meets the adapters. The o ring gets pushed out and loses pressure very quickly.

The o rings on this product do not form a good seal at the bleed ports. This causes air to leak in or out of the system. Do not buy. They worked for a single bleed.

This kit worked great on my Avid Elixr brakes. Used it for my first brake bleed job.

I'm not a person who likes to give bad reviews and there's nothing physically wrong with this product. However I just wanted to point out two things just incase a buyer is unaware and doesn't make the same mistake I did. If you're buying this because you have juicy brakes then This kit wont work for you Because The hoses for the syringe don't come with Clamps... You need the clamps to open and close the hose to draw the bubbles out of the brakes. Also Neither of the 2 bleed blockers would fit in my caliber, And I think it was just bad luck but I only received one syringe and you're supposed to get 2. So unfortunately this kit did not work for me So unless you can bleed the breaks without the clamps, or you have your own bleed blocks for the pistons I wouldn't recommend this kit. I think they have a master kit that has more pieces but I was unaware of this until after I purchased this one. Thanks for reading cheers!

Bought this because it states it’s compatible with Hayes brakes.No insert size for the Hayes 9 provided.Gave it 2 stars because the kit does come with several options and 2 syringes. No clamps tho.

Others might be able to get this to work but without the hose clamps, very difficult to get an air-free system on Sram/Avid brakes. The instruction video on youtube shows the procedure well using the hose clamps, but alas they are not supplied with this kit. Fittings are cheap plastic and I wouldn't expect them to last very long. The "instructions" are literally useless. They feature the "ultimate kit" and not this one.
