UPDATE 06/02/2023: I wrote my original review about a month ago and afterwards the seller reached out and offered to refund or replace. They quickly sent me a replacement even well after the 30 day return. I really like this device and am stoked to have one again for reading on the treadmill and for times when my arthritis is really bad. The battery life is stellar. I charge it maybe once a week and have never had it die. HELPFUL NOTES: This remote works best in the kindle app if you TURN OFF continuous scrolling. It works for continuous scrolling but it scrolls randomly. IT DOES NOT auto connect to my device but you just have to hold down the middle O button until the little light goes blue and turns off then works like normal. There’s a little instruction manual that takes maybe 30 seconds to read to best know how it works. PREVIOUS REVIEW: The controls are a little finicky but it always charged up and connected but the ring part suddenly broke when I put it on the other day. It’s super awkward to hold and there’s no way to resecure the ring back on. Disappointed in the sudden loss. Was a great tool to read and scroll while walking on the treadmill.

At first this was great; it worked just like it said in the description, was super easy to set up the assistive touch, and easily paired with my iPhone. (While it's way too big for my fingers, I just kept it on with another ring in front so it didn't slip off.) But then after an hour or two, the 'single click to scroll up/down' magically changed to 'right/left', (no, I didn't do anything different, it just was one second I would turn pages using a single click, the next second that single click did something else.) and it turned into: double clicking was how it would scroll up or down. Okay, fine, it's weird, I can deal with that. But then it continued to go back and forth, swapping between single and double click to scroll either up, down or right/left. Irritating, but still, I could deal with it. Then it would also randomly change *which* button went up, and which went down. Just one second, the top button would scroll up, and then the next time I pushed it, now it is the 'scroll down button'. So I'd have to flip the ring on my finger, and still, I'm fairly easy going, so I still thought 'That's fine, whatever, it still works, sorta...' But last night when I went to use it, it's completely borked. The 'down' key now shuts my phone off, the up closes the app. (TikTok or Kindle on iPhone). Long pressing starts my PHONE and calls random numbers in my contacts. (When it's 3am, that's not good, lol) Yes, of course I restarted my phone. Yes, of course I also un-paired, forgot the device, and re-paired it multiple times. Nothing worked. It was 100% charged, and no I did not drop it. So, for me, it worked for an hour or so before it glitched. The glitches at first were not horrible to work around, but now all I have a fancy remote to shut off my phone, and play the 'Call a random person for no reason at all' game. (Which, it should *never* be accessing the phone, IMO. Ever.) I'm seriously bummed, because this was one of those gadgets that you don't need, but make your life easier, especially if you read a lot of Kindle books like I do. Now, I will say that there are a few good reviews out there, so it would seem or I would imagine, this is not normal for this item, but it is my experience, so while I rarely write reviews, I thought this deserved one. Your mileage may vary. Update: I am in contact with the company that makes this product, and I will update this review with the final resolution in fairness.

It works great for 2 or 3 months and then just stops being able to scroll out of no where. I can still mess with the volume and make the screen go black but can no longer switch videos. I was using it for an hour before it jusy stopped scrolling. Was great while it worked tho! Update: found a fix on Google. Holding the up and down buttons for a few seconds fixed it. So updating from 3 to 4 stars

It was great when it did work but that was short lived. Only lasted just over a month and we did not even use it very often. I stored it in its charging box for safe keeping so the problem isn’t damage from improper handling. It pairs fine but the controls no longer respond. Update: The seller was AMAZING about following up on this issue and did everything to make sure that the problem was resolved. They issued a refund and offered to send a replacement. This is GREAT customer service. I will not hesitate to order from them again because they care about their product and their customers. It really is a cool product and with such great customer service you don’t need to worry about your purchase. GET ONE, or two or three for Christmas gifts. Thank you!!!

When I activated the scroll feature inside the Kindle app on my "Android phone" & used the single press up or down it never, ever paged to the next line in the text that was just off the page. Yes it would move it, but you had no idea where you were and it moved so far that the next page scrolled up off the top so you had to manually scroll back to find it. There appears to be no app required, ergo there is no way to update or bug fix this. I tried setting Kindle app font size to all available options but under none, would it scroll where the bottom line just off the screen became the top line. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22+ so it is not old by any stretch. If your looking for scrolling, don't buy this!!!! Since I am a page turner and bought for that purpose, it works with all font sizes properly. You must turn off the scroll setting and double click to turn page forward or back. If scroll is turned on in Kindle, the double click page turn does not work. That is a feature of the Kindle app. You can't have it both ways and since scroll does not work properly, it's your only option. Beware page 3 of the user pamphlet "Must-Do" shows turning on continuos scrolling. It might work with Apple but does not with Android. It may with apple but no comment there. I have no idea how music or camera functions work with android as I bought for page turning. My BT earphones do what I want with calls and music. A cheaper page turner may have worked will see how long it lasts before battery dies. PS Red on charging box means its charging. Apparently at some point light goes off hut not sure this means fully charged. Should be amber or blue I was told when fully charged. I had no trouble syncing and note when you take out of charger, it is off by default so must hold down center button until it starts flashing with BT turned on the phone.

I use this as a Page Turner for my iPad. It’s phenomenal. Honestly, I’ve also paired it with my iPhone and sometimes use it to scroll through videos. The only thing that I don’t like is that I can’t speed up the videos twice with the device, but the usage for reading and acting as a page Turner is absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend it to any girls who love using apps like Libby, Kindle, hoopla, or CloudLibrary to invest in this, especially if you have an iPhone. I do know that Kindles won't sync with us unless you have a 2025 or newer Kindle, because the Bluetooth settings on a Kindle device require it to be a listening device only. I think that’s only changed in the late 2025 models. I know it says it’s for TikTok, but girlie, this is a big option for those of us who hate having to keep the clip on our screen, which blocks a portion of the reading area on our devices. This is a complete Lee Bluetooth lead system, and the only thing you will notice is a clear, transparent square on your screen that occasionally moves to indicate you’re turning the page. It’s not distracting and doesn’t block any words from being visible.

Unfortunately when I attempted to connect to the device via Bluetooth, the name came up “Virus 2.0” in my Bluetooth selection. Never before seen that… I did see the normal option to connect to the device. However when I tried again in a different location, the same two names came up: “Virus 2.0” and the products name. It sketched me out considering the instructions weren’t in English either and I decided to maintain the integrity of my device and not connect to a Bluetooth device that has a connection name of Virus 2.0. Not making it one star because the normal name did come up…. But I was too uncertain to attempt any connection.
