Dasqua makes quality 6 in calipers
I'm a machinist.Have checked parts with all of the top name calipers.I needed a new set for work.Liked the way they feel when in use.Knew it was quality right away.Money well spent at half the price of the leading brand .

Good quality
Made well.Calibration is off by .001 over, not a problem as I just adjusted it back .001

Very Impressive
I own several Dasqua products and am very impressed with their products and this one is no different. The quality of these calipers are almost on par with mitutoyo ( the leader is this field ) but at a much better price point.

Poor quality control
Accurately calibrated out of the box. Only downside so far is the dial lense is just plastic. I believe the pair I received must have been previously returned as the lense is scratched pretty good and there's a finger print on the inside of it. If not, poor factory QC.

Nice tool
I was looking for a caliper that measures to .001 in digital form and there isn't anything that us reasonably priced. This works great tho. Well made and is accurate as compared to other calipers I use. I bought it to measure panel thickness when machining on my CNC.

Maybe it's worth the price?
I have an unheated garage that will easily drop bellow freezing and it tends to kill LCD screen when I inevitably forget my calipers outside. As a result, I have grown to appreciate analog calipers. I have a set of vernier calipers but they aren't the easiest to read. I thought this might be a nice balance of readability but also freeze proof. Before now, I have never heard of Dasqua, but googling them seems to show that they have some sort of name, but I am not that impressed. Don't get me wrong, they do work great and they are easy to read, but they are only in inches (I am mixed units, I jump between them depending on the project) and they don't feel that special. Dasqua might have a good reputation, but I don't know them well enough to pay $50, not when my $16 vernier calipers can give me the same accuracy (even if they are harder to read).
