It's hard to believe they can sell this & still make a profit. I bought this for my son as it's made for the Samsung phone that has. I wanted to try this out first before giving it to him so I thought I would see if my Motorola phone would fit inside, my phone was slightly smaller but as there is a big foam pad inside the 3D glasses back cover it held my phone tightly without moving. So if you don't have the correct phone for this you may be lucky & find your phone fits as mine does.The 3D glasses are made of solid shiny plastic, it has a nice padded seal which fits your face, much the same as used in large studio headphones. The strap is Velcro adjusted, it's fairly large & stretchy with a nice soft pad on the back, they are really comfortable when worn. There are a pair of internal lenses inside which are adjustable by two knobs on the outside of the glasses which allow you to adjust the focus. There is a knurled adjuster on the top which moves the display left or right so you can get the display exactly where you want it.If you wear prescription glasses I don't think you would find it comfortable, I tried wearing my glasses & although I did manage to put the 3D glasses over the top of my prescription glasses I found they dug into my face & were quite uncomfortable. To be honest unless your eyesight is particularly bad the built in focus adjustment should correct your vision to enable you to see clearly without using your prescription lenses.I'm impressed with these - Virtual reality at an affordable price - Recommended!

After seeing all these virtual reality headsets being released in recent times, I wanted to join the hype and buy my own. This product is a budget alternative for those who want to give VR a try for the first time.As someone who wears glasses all day every day, it is quite comfortable with its leather headband and can be worn for long periods of time without any problems. The focal point can be adjusted to help see the screen more clearly. However, I found this may not help those who have terrible eyesight since I still found it blurry but I was still able to wear my glasses and the headset at the same time. It would be a lot more better if the focal distance was more adjustable to take into account those with worse eyesight.The strap is useful to tighten the headset and can help with blocking out any external light but one thing I noticed was that external light was still coming in from the area around the nose but to me, it wasn't much of an issue. The magnetic clip is quite strong and keeps the phone safely inside the headset at all times so there are no worries of it accidentally falling out.Overall, the quality of the headset is pretty good considering the cost. Definitely a contender for budget VR headsets.

These seem well made, they are comfortable to wear and quite lightweight I tried these with My iphone 8 and works perfectly, the padding is quite thick so makes it comfortable to wear. There is no button to start apps so need to start any apps before closing the headset. Also this can not be used with glasses, however the lens adjustment does make it possible to adjust the image so becomes clear. I downloaded a few apps to try on this and works well. Price is reasonable too.

Price at time of review £9.99Considering that these are only a few pounds more expensive than a google cardboard kit, they are a significant step up in quality and durability. Having used a cardboard kit previously, they were great for one or two goes at VR to see what it's like, but they quickly started to fall apart, were uncomfortable, and got an unsightly sweat patch in the forehead area. The TechRise set avoids all of these problems.With soft padding all around the edge, this VR set is very comfortable. Some of the other reviews state that the lenses press lightly on the forehead - I haven't found this a particular issue. However, depending on the position the headset is worn in, I do find it occasionally presses slightly on my nose - that being said, I would say my nose is probably larger than average! The headset has vents at the top which prevents any buildup of sweat or condensation on the lenses. The headset is made of solid plastic, and feels sturdy and well made.The headset fits my phone in easily (Honor 8, 5.2inch screen), and looks to have plenty of room spare for larger phones. Despite this extra space, the phone is held securely by the headset. The only drawback to this VR headset is that there is no button for using with VR games or to control other aspects of VR apps. Some google cardboard sets come with a magnet which works as a button with some phones, but this headset doesn't. However, TechRise make a Bluetooth handheld controller which can be used in conjunction with this headset.All in all this is a very nice VR headset considering the very cheap price point - an excellent way to give VR a try without breaking the bank.

This headset seems of good design and of robust quality, fitting and adjustments work fine and its comfortable on the head and face. I was eager to use this headset and downloaded a number of apps to use it, However, the quality of the lens are both very poor, they both seem like they have been cut out by an unskilled person or a damaged cutting machine. Both lenses have cracks on the edges which look unfinished. Also once I took off the protective plastic from the lens, the right side lens has been left with a permanent smear which I have tried to remove. Maybe its a one off, but this item is unuseable, I don't want to pay for return postage so will leave it to seller to contact me if they want to do return or exchange. This should item have been quality checked before being sold.

Los compre para probar algunas aplicaciones de VR. Al igual que otros, depende mucho que aplicación uses. Hay aplicaciones que requieren un botón para interactuar y hay otras que solo funcionan con movimiento. Este dispositivo es ideal para estas últimas puesto que no posee un botón. No es pesado y es sencillo de colocar. Los telefonos movil compatibles no tienen que ser muy delgados, aunque puedes ponerle algun soporte si lo son. Hay muchas aplicaciones de VR pero, como mencioné, debes buscar aquellas donde interactúes con movimiento. Tiene ajuste de enfoque y posición, son los básicos. Los lentes se cuidan asi como las gafas, hay que limpiarlos con cuidado o se rayan. En general es un buen producto y barato, para iniciar en el VR son muy divertidos.

De headset werkt in principe prima (de QR-code voor een cardbox 2.0 is geschikt voor gebruik met deze headset). Hij is vrij licht en goed te dragen zonder pijnlijke randjes. Beter, aangenamer, groter beeld ook dan de cardboard 2.0 kartonnen viewer die ik had.Wat wel jammer is, is dat de bijstelling voor dioptrie van je ogen maar heel (en feitelijk te: mijn ogen zijn toch echt zo slecht niet) beperkt is. Ik kwam net 2-3 mm te kort om het echt scherp te krijgen (testje met randje plakvilt om de mobiel iets verder van de lens te houden leverde wel scherp beeld op, maar ook zeer (=te) grote druk op het beeldscherm van de mobiel, dus raad dat niet aan ivm risico breuk beeldscherm).Verder is hij eigenlijk niet zo geschikt voor schermen kleiner dan 5 inch - mijn 4 inch zit op het randje en valt bijna in de opening, dus die 3.5 inch die genoemd wordt als minimum lijkt mij incorrect.

Mon Samsung tiens bien dedans, bon produit, mais attention aux molettes de réglage elles sont fragile et sensible. Je dois re-regler mon casque a chaque fois que je le range dans mon sac.
