Greyhound Polo Coat, 22"/56 cm, Blue

Brilliant fleece coat! Very warm and snug, keeping those long necks cosy. Plus when you fully unfold the snood it’s hilarious!! It keeps Ludo’s ears warm, but he looks like a pointy ET! 😆 We had to extend the harness hole a little as his current harness has a very low set lead ring, but after a few amateur stitches, it’s still 5 star dogwear for dry, cold days!

Quick delivery. My dog loves this coat. Have bought many a coat for her over the past 12yrs but they all had the strap going across her chest which I found very restrive and she couldn't stretch and leap about with them on.This one is brilliant .No straps across the chest! Slips over her neck which she doesn't mind at all .soft strap which actually does fit behind her ribcage nicely being a lurcher grey hound whippet cross this was another problem too . Other jackets fastened in the middle of her chest. But this one I couldn't praise more.it is slightly cape like at th front. No fastening at the front and she can bomb about in it. When we've been out for a walk and its been cold and shes had it on when I take it off I run my hand down her back and it's lovely and warm. I just wish there was a waterproof version. I reckon the manufacturers of it would make an absolute fortune !

After a lot of help from others that had bought this coat, I risked buying it for my GSD X Collie. I am so pleased I did! It slips over his head easy and leaves plenty of room around his neck/throat. But the absolutely best thing is it covers his hind quarters which normal dog coats don't so I know his hips and the base of his spine are kept warm. He has very poorly hips and the cold weather really causes him trouble. It's very well made and beautifully warm. A huge thank you to all that answered my question and sent me measurements, their dogs weight/size and gave advice and ideas. I have a warm, happy old boy now.

Was great for the beast from the east! My lurcher was very warm and had his ears all covered up. Very good :)

This is really well made, lovely colour combination and well designed (although the back is slightly more rounded than required for my hound). It didn’t fit the greyhound I purchased it for - I thought it might be hit and miss though as the largest size available was a 30 inch. It didn’t cover his bum so tried it on my girl. Much better fit so I have kept it for her.My boy isn’t the largest greyhound so it would be nice to be able to get larger sizes more easily. I have had to get another brand unfortunately for him.These coats are lovely though really well made and I would highly recommend. She will be nice and toasty.

Our Whippet's coat arrived before due date, we have had quite a few coats in several finishes, oilskin, moleskin, fleece + 1 or 2 more in the 14 years we've had our little girl. But make no mistake this one from Stitch & Turn u.k. Ltd. as a Cosypet Polo Coat is absolutely superb, in fit, quality of finish and comfort ( we think!) she seems very happy to wear it and we are happy to show it off. Just then ticket in these cold months - good sizing - sadly the snood part constantly and quickly slides back off her ears and head. Otherwise she stays toasty warm. Not waterproof but easily shower proof due to the thickness of the material. the hole for the lead is too small and too high up the shoulder line to be useful so I put the harness on over the coat, and that compromise works fine

Our rescue Podenco (Spanish Greyhound) absolutely loves this fleece. it fit nicely, dries quickly and keeps her nice and snug. she refuses to go outside in the fall and winter without it on and keeps it on in the house if we let her. We've had this fleece now for 10 months and have used it every day for 6 to 7 of those months and it has held up wonderfully. We will be buying another soon so that we can wash one while she wears the other.
