Like sitting on a hard cheese grater for hours
I'm a big fan of SLR Boost saddles. Having tried a Specialized Romin Mirror that is 3D printed, I had high hopes for the SLR 3D Boost. Unfortunately, like another reviewer, this saddle caused chafing down below. The 3D printed top is very hard, unlike the Specialized 3D saddles that are not soft, but "springey" that have enough give to make them comfortable. This 3D SLR is like sitting on a cheese grater for hours on the bike. If you move around on the saddle, it makes it even worse. Just imagine a cheese grater action, because that's how hard the 3d material is. I'm sticking with my SLR Boost Endurance which is one of the most comfortable saddles I've ever tried (and I've tried a lot of them).

First time saddle sores
This was supposed to be the next big thing. Not for me. I hate, hate, hate this saddle. For first time in 34 years, a saddle has given me sores. It's on its way back to Amazon, and I'm putting my San Marco Aspide back on. Did I mention I hate this saddle?

Hat sich gelohnt…
Durch ein Fachmagazine bin ich nochmals auf die 3d Sättel aufmerksam geworden. Das Versprechen: Verteilung der Druckzonen auf eine breitere Fläche… dann mal los.Wer bin: 87 kg schwer, fahre gelegentlich Rennrad, wenn aber mindestens 2 bis 6h.Sattel habe ich jetzt 600km getestet mit Runden bis zu 6h am Stück.Mein bisheriges Problem: jeweils nach 2h mit dem bisherigen Sattel und gleichen Radhosen ging’s meistens nicht mehr. Wenn dann nur mit schmerzen. Trotz variablen sitzen usw.Mit dem Sattel, deutlich bessern. Nach 6h tut der Hintern auch weh, aber kein Vergleich. Man merkt, dass die druckfrische wirklich breiter ist. Nach und nach merkt man schon die Netzstruktur, geht aber alles. Zum Positionswechsel muss der Hintern angehoben werden, weil es nicht ganz so rutscht.Ich möchte anmerken, dass die Hose auch passen muss. Wenn die Radhose leichte Hautfalten verursacht, kann kein Sattel was dafür. Bitte auch da selbst aufpassen…Bereu ich den Kauf? Nein. Überlege sogar auch mein Gravelbike umzurüsten. Weil das hat einen mehr gepolsterten Sattel, aber auch dieser ist auf längeren Ausfahrten… autsch.

Guter Sattel
Durch den 3d Druck ist der Sattel gut belüftet. Ich komme sehr gut mit dem Sattel zurecht, aber das ist bei Sätteln ja sehr individuell.
