Vaultz Locking Everyday Case for Cosmetics Storage, Black (VZ03744)

Originally I left a bad review about it not locking, but I realized soon after that I just wasn't turning the key far enough because I thought the resistance I was meeting was the end of the lock turn.After trying a few times I realize now it was my error in assuming the item was faulty and I am now correcting my review to rate it properly.The Case is sturdy with a decent lock on it. I do wish it was a slightly different design as the lock although it does in fact lock it seems weak and anyone with any time on their hands could easily snap it probably with just a butter knife. Which I hope doesn't happen as I bought this item specifically to protect my make up from the greedy grubby hands of my own family since I had high end make up stolen from my current non locking case.I do recommend this item for light protection of products and belongings but nothing more than that.Cute design is definitely a selling feature.

Just received this today and I love it more than I thought I would.It would be great for makeup, but I got it to keep my vitamin supplements in to keep them secure.The material is high quality, the combo lock is quick and easy to use and more secure as you slide the button when your combo is in. It doesn't just pop open if your combo happens to be turned past (if that makes sense). The zipper clicks into the lock so that's how the lock works on the bag at least.It also comes with the two little makeup bags in it, which I didn't expect. They have little snaps on them so you can take them out and put them in when you'd like.Overall high quality, cute, simple to operate, and better quality than expected.If this helped, click that helpful button please!

this bag is so cute and a great size, has really useful pockets and ways to organize. I love the locking feature. its nice to not worry about kids getting into my potentially harmful things like insulin, syringes, pain meds. etc. the removable bags are great! i can keep my cash/wallet locked up too but separate from my medications.

Purchased this to keep certain valuables safe from nosey kids and so far, it's doing its job. I like the way it looks like a normal cosmetic bag but has a very sturdy lock. The pockets inside are perfect. I haven't used it for travel yet, but I will soon. I don't believe it is smell proof, so if you're thinking of buying this to hide something with a strong odor (wink wink) then this isnt for you. I purchased a box specifically for that on Amazon as well that is amazing.

I loved my locking pouch excellent to store my diabetes supplies. Locks easily however I had trouble unlocking and had to jimmy lock open in order to get said medicines. It's broken but I will order another soon. Most likely my low blood sugar episode contribute to unlocking difficulties. Note to self: do not lock up glucose tabs-only insulin syringes. Bag looks just like a make up bag extra inner bags were a sweet surprise and helped in seperating glucose monitor, supplies and medicines. Plus had room for cell phone, ID and credit card. Lots of compliments on my "make-up" bag. No more odd looks as i step into restroom to check my sugar levels.

I do not usually write reviews, but this is an exception for me. I bought the locking makeup bag to secure my medications & had planned to purchase a second for my makeup if I really liked the bag. I will NOT be purchasing a second bag. The locking mechanism did not move freely right from the beginning. The lock does not retract all the way back into itself to allow for easy function. Then once I had programmed my combination into the lock; It would not function at all. I repeatedly tried to get the locking mechanism to work & it would not. It bent instead & is now useless for locked storage. I need to add here that I did not forget my combination as there is a warning there is no "fix" for forgotten combinations. Also, in the directions, the picture representing the lock was not a correct representation of the lock I received. The lock in general was cheap in its construction. I had planned other purchases but I doubt that I will even try their keyed locks now. After reading other reviews it looks like there is either a major design flaw or very poor quality control with their locks. That is too bad as the bag itself is attractive & SEEMS decently made.

I already have a main cosmetic storage case with drawers and slots, etc. What I needed was something to keep the everyday things I use next to my mirror. This is a simple box, with no compartments and a lid to keep out dust. Perfect size, uncomplicated, and cute!

UPDATE 4/9/2021 I CONTACTED THE COMPANY CONCERNING THE BROKEN ZIPPERS AND THEY REPLACED BOTH FREE OF CHARGE, DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING.. I LOVE THESE BAGS AND NOW THAT THEY REPLACED THEM AFTER THEY BROKE I CHANGE MY REVIEW TO 5 STARS!!This case is great for medications, valuables, etc, however, I have had the same issue with 2 of the 3 cases I purchased that other reviewers have mentioned where the locking mechanism attachment to zipper broke off after just a few months of use. I emailed the company and will update this review if they respond. There is no way to contact the manufacturer through Amazon for replacement/refund at this the time of this review.

Fantastic! Excellent quality. Not cheap china product. Was very impressed with the inner pockets and quality of material.
