Works great to dry motorcycle helmets
Bought these to ventilate our motorcycle helmet cabinet. Husband cut holes in the bottoms of the cabinet and attached the fans to the outside (blowing air in). Didn’t come with the AC adaptor, we just had to find one. Connected the fans to a timer and it works great to dry out the helmets.Maybe a little loud for computer applications, but works great for how we use them.

Great cooling solution for a hot garage freezer!
A 'little noisy', two fans running together, but, the freezer is out in the garage, so ... I have a west facing garage, and on a HOT Texas day, it can be 100+ degrees, for sure. An HVAC man told me, in passing, "you ought to get some air circulation around that unit". The compressor runs for hours... on a hot day you can't put your hand on it! So, I tapped into the compressor's 110v line and hooked up two of these 110v fans to cool it when it turned on (only pulling .6 amps!). What a difference! It's still hot, but you CAN put your hand on it without getting 'burned'. *wow.... no one has been cleaning the floor behind the freezer lately!!*

No air movement
I wasn't expecting a super strong fan for the price but after plugging in you can barely feel air movement from 2 inches away

Great fans!
I got set of four to push the smoke from the laser cutter to keep it away from the controller and direct the airflow towards the 8" ventilation outside. The fans work beautifully and is not loud at all and keeps smoke away. The size was perfect for the gap between the honeycomb bed.

Moves air but noisy
Purchased for exact same reason as another reviewer, to cool compressor of an outdoor freezer. Not worried about noise because of where being placed but measured 60dB at 3.5 feet away. It is not a “quiet” fan by any definition.

Electrically noisy
Bought this to use with an arduino project. With one wire temp probes. The electrical noise coming from these fans knocks the signal out. Have not been able to filter. Causes spikes about 3 volts on the digital circuit.

Cools Nicely
I bought these to add to my 2 cylinder air compressor. It's an old compressor I have re-plumbed, brazed the tank, and rewired, and it keeps going. Recently I ran it for some time straight and the compressor got very hot, so I added one of these to each cylinder. The cylinders run cool now. I still need to put a line cooler on it. Compressing air builds up heat. I used a transmission cooler on another compressor, and plan on adding one to this compressor just in front of these fans. Not what most people will use these for, but they work good for me.

Very noisy fan
Like the size and airflow but the fan registers 48db at 12 feet away and at 24 feet away only reduces the sound level to 38 db. This is noiser than many dishwashers.
