Very nice gauze at a very reasonable price point.
Having never ordered "premium" gauze before, I wasn't quite sure what to expect or what would make it "premium". Now I know. Compared with the standard gauze I've purchased before at pharmacies and big box stores, this gauze is softer, has a tighter weave, and just feels higher quality those other gauzes I've used. It does seem to stretch more - while this enables you to put some compression on the wound area, you run the risk of wrapping too tightly and causing more issues in the long term. Of course, that's the case with any kind of stretch wrap, and the compression available from this gauze is much less than standard "vet" wrap. The gauze is not sterile - not a problem. I can't think of any instance in the recent past where I've depended upon gauze wrap being sterile. That's what pads and dressings are for.I like the wrap, have added it to my first aid supply cabinet, and will be ordering more. Looking at the price of comparable house-brand gauze from a local big chain pharmacy, this product provides very good value.

Basic stretch gauze. Useful for the home med kit.
This is a small package of standard stretch gauze. It has a little bit of stretch, and sticks to itself a little bit. But does not provide compression. Think of it as sort of halfway between a basic gauze pad and a cohesive tape/Coban wrap.I like to have this in my home med kit for dressing/wrapping superficial extremity wounds. Got some road rash on a forearm or 2nd degree sunburn on your calves? This provides the ability to keep ointments in place and prevent a mess, while still allowing the skin to breathe and without the compression of cohesive wrap.Is it useful for every type of superficial extremity wound? No! Can it be used as wound packing? Definitely NOT! Is it sterile? Nope! Is it a little pricey for gauze? Yep!But despite its limitations, I find it beneficial to have a little of this on hand.

Good med kit addition
I use these in my med kit in our camping gear, trucks, and tool boxes. Nothing worse than getting a cut camping and using a dirty rag to clean up.At this point I haven't needed this product and that's a good thing. For the price it's a good insurance to keep around. My wife noted its not sterel but neither are dirty rags .I'd recommend this as cheap insurance. May never need it but nice when you to have when you do need it!

Good for first aid kit
I'm only giving this gauze 4 instead of 5 stars because I don't think it would function well in terms of absorbency. It would, however, be great to keep other dressings secure..It reminds me of a tighter weave Kerlix wrap which is used in hospitals. Would be perfect to wrap around a smaller dressed wound like a hand or foot cut that either has a bandaid or gauze dressing on top of it. It applies a nice pressure when wrapped tightly. I also think this would function as good padding under an ACE-wrapped joint or extremity. I like that it comes in six individually packaged smaller rolls because I feel like it keeps the gauze cleaner than if it came in one big roll that you would have to cut off pieces of. I've had gauze rolls in the past that I've reached for during an emergency and I end up getting the whole roll of gauze bloody in trying to wrap up a small wound.

Individually wrapped, good quality, great for 1st aid kit
This stretch gauze is really nice. It comes with 6 rolls individually wrapped, which is perfect so I can put them into our first aid kits and not have to worry about them getting dirty. I put 3 in each of my first aid kits. I happened to fall off my truck while loading it, and really hurt my arm. I wrapped it in this gauze after cleaning up and putting a sterile pad on first, and it held the pad in place without issue. It's really comfortable and soft on the skin. I didn't have little line impression in my arm from the gauze when I removed it several hours later when I got to the emergency room. I'll be getting more of these. I recommend this product.

More netting than gauze.
We should have done more research before we purchased these.

Begauze you can never be too prepared!
When you get to my age you know that “stuff happens” - scrapes, burns, sprains, etc. can (and do!) happen to the best of us.I’ve been building up my first aid kit for those “just in case” moments and this is a great addition! When I received these for review the purchase price was $7.99 ($1.33 / roll) for 6 rolls. The gauze is stretchy and should be perfect for smaller wound areas/extremities. Now I just need to make sure I have some sterile, non-stick patches on hand, plus some triple antibiotic, and my wound kit will be that much more robust!Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!
