Bought this when our last popcorn maker died because it had the same specs as the last one for quantity. I have loved spin poppers for over a decade and all the ways you can make different kinds of popcorn in them. Definitely clean it well and run it to hot and clean again before making your first batch to get any coating off. After that, it makes great popcorn. I absolutely love that all of it can be washed because it comes away from the heating element - that's huge and not something my poppers have had until now and, I have to say, I am not sure I can go without it now! I have made about a dozen batches of popcorn, my family's favorite snack, and they are consistently popped. I have only had it for a couple months so time will tell if it lasts. Will update the review if it breaks or has issues.

We use this a lot. I love the fact the hot plate is removable so we can throw it and the lid in the dishwasher. It pops corn. I wish it kept more seeds in the middle instead of pushing them to the edge. But for the price. It’s good enough.

We love our popcorn maker and it has served us for a couple years. Unfortunately, the clear lid that converts to the bowl cracked about a year after purchase. The cracker continues to grow, and a replacement can’t be found.

Love how easy this is to clean compared to my old popper! The bottom, and the bowl, can go in the dishwasher! I use it so much more now!

2nd batch of popcorn the popper caught on fire & melted. Now garbage. It was rickety from the start, and got very hot very fast. The three parts - base, plate, bowl - did not lock together securely, so flipping it over to decant the popped corn was hazardous. Definitely will not be purchasing this item again.

This popcorn popper is lightweight, easy to use and best of all, the cooking plate is removable so it can be washed. I loved it when I first got it. It heated quickly and left very few kernels unpopped. I use it a lot (several nights each week). It worked great for the first six months or so then suddenly started taking longer to start popping then left half the kernels unpopped (I use approx 1/2 cup at a time). So, I started popping smaller batches which seemed to help a little, though now I have to pop more batches to get the same amount as before. Here's my bigger issue - I tried to contact the manufacturer. Their troubleshooting page is worthless (just tells you common sense stuff like making sure it's plugged in). I found a form to contact them (no phone number, of course). The form asks for a name, contact info and gives a section for a very short explanation of why you're trying to get in touch. After submitting the form, there's no acknowledgement - nothing saying thank you, we'll be in touch; no email confirming they received the form. I waited a week. No contact whatsoever so I tried again. Same thing. Buyer beware. The popcorn popper may work well for a while. You may even get more use out of it than I did if you use it less often. However, if you have problems with it, expect to be on your own.

J’avais des doutes sur les popcorn au sucre (brulés?). Mais cela fonctionne tres bien. Petit bemol: le couvercle noir qui est sensé se mettre sur le dessus pour transformer le couvercle en recipient me tient pas en place.

en moins de 6 minutes tous les grains ont éclaté. Il faut alors retirer immédiatement le plateau avec son bol, après l'arrêt, pour que les grains ne brûlent pas . Légèrement salés les pop corn sont délicieux, à mon goût mieux que sucrés.

Immer ein Highlight....habe auch bei Amazon ein hochwertiges Popcorn bestellt und es schmeckt super...oben kann man noch etwas Butter reinlassen lassen....nicht zu viele Körner rein geben, denn wenn man wartet bis alle aufgegangen sind, könnten aufgegangen etwas dunkel werden

Absolut geiles Teil. In ca 5 Minuten frisches Popcorn. Als Tipp für alle: auf einen vollen Becher Popcornmais (Butterfly) 20ml Pflanzenöl und 5-6 Gramm Buttersalz dann habt ihr Kinopocorn! Unbedingt Buttersalz (ganz feines Pulver) dazubestellen! Mit normalem Salz schmeckts nicht ;) Und nicht schrecken, Buttersalz riecht übel chemisch, aber wenns fertig ist, ist alles weg ;) Dasselbe Salz wurde mir von einem Kinomitarbeiter empfohlen :)
