Fine Maui Jim titanium piece.Just on the smaller side, fine for woman.

This is my second pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and as it turns out these will be a nice compliment to the other pair which are much darker. These are brighter and do make everything "crisper" when wearing them, they just don't block out as much light. So, on a super bright and clear day I wear the other pair, and on less sunny days or later in the day, this is the pair I'm going with. I like that the frames are titanium which allows them to be much thinner and lighter than my other pair while still being quite strong, they almost feel like I'm not wearing them when compared side by side with my others.Here's my issue with these though, I really like the shape of the lenses that are shown in the first three pictures in the advertisement (teardrop) and I didn't notice when deciding to get these that the fifth and sixth pictures are not only different (almost flat bottom) but actually quite a bit different in shape and that is the shape of the frames/lenses that I actually received. It's not a deal breaker for me but at this price point I expect all of the photos displayed to be of the actual product that I will receive.

Edit OCT2024: I had an issue with the lenses having spots that are blurry and obscured my vision and I could not clean it. I sent the glasses in to Maui Jim to have the lenses replaced, expecting that I would have to pay for the new lenses and they turned them around in less than a week! Even better, they covered the cost (minus shipping) under warranty! I am sold on this company and these glasses!Edit AUG2024: These things are great! It has been over a year, I use them every day, and no scratches, no bending, no issues! I really like these better than my RayBans! I am a fan!I will start this by noting that I am usually a RayBan wearer and this is my first pair of Maui Jim. RayBan discontinued the style that I usually wear and I thought that this Maui Jim pair was close enough to give them a try. First impression was that the material used to make them is slight and flexible which makes them very light and feel "almost" flimsy, though they are not. They fit well on my face and the lenses are bright, clear, and filter the light very well. I have worn them for a few days and so far am very happy with them, they will make a good replacement for my RayBans permanently if they hold up to the abuse that I usually put my sunglasses through.

In a field of lots of different makers and styles of sunglasses, these Maui Jim polarized aviators come from a reputable company, are light-weight, and look very stylish. The light but sturdy material feels nice and is a bit of a break from the more, pardon the pun, in-your-face heft and form factor of other offerings. Plus the lenses and UV ratings are surer bets as well. My new favorite pair of sunglasses!

I’m a big fan of Maui Jim’s. This would be my 3rd pair of sunglasses and 4th pair overall. (I have a set of eyeglasses and one pair of my sunglasses are prescription).The lenses on these are like my other non- prescription pair. They aren’t overly dark but somehow create more refined lines when I’m wearing them. It’s like everything you look at is clearer and sharper. I have had other polarized sunglasses before but not like these.If you’re looking for something that is super dark, these are not for you. But if you want eye protection while seeing things almost as true to color as possible with sunglasses, these are great.I love the super lightweight frame - they almost feel too delicate but I know they’ll hold up. I actually forget I’m wearing them (probably because I’m a glasses wearer most times) and will realize I’m sitting inside with them still on.I also really like the blue lenses. They look sharp. My husband put these on and they looked just as good on him, so I’d definitely say these are unisex!I knocked off one star because I wish Maui Jim would invent something so the nose pieces didn’t get stuck in hair. I know that’s a downfall of aviators but I want the best of both worlds. I know some of their competitors have come up with a solution.
