Bought this for a birthday present so only went through the laughs once to make sure it works. A couple of the laughs sound the same (but then I am old and hearing not so great), but some of the laughs really make me chuckle too, so it certainly lifts the spirits and I am sure it will life the spirits of the recipient when it is their birthday
