Your mileage may vary but for me this thing was pretty much worthless. Despite watching the YouTube videos, it is extremely difficult to get it to hook around the nail. Even then, the hooks are so small that when I tightened it down it would rip the nail rather than pull it into place. I found that using some antibacterial cream and stuffing cotton under the nail worked a lot better.
