Unfortunately, I never tried this product because I just could NOT get past the smell. I bought it to double for both cosmetic and cooking purposes, but upon opening the outer packaging, I was taken aback by an unexpected chemical smell. I went so far as to unscrew the cap to try and ascertain whether or not the odor was actually coming from the product (vs. the packaging). Sure enough, I was hit by the smell in full. It smelled like a floral nail polish remover, and it was completely unlike any rose water I have used in the past (and I have tried many brands). I kept giving it a 'smell test' for another day, but I just could not get used to it. Product was returned with all due haste.

The price is great but I am very suspicious about this product because #1 it is clear and I have never seen a rose water that is not pink. Even if you steep your own roses in boiling water to make home-made rose water it will have a pink color.And also it smells a little bit synthetic to me, unlike the rose water I buy at Whole Foods market. I dont know enough about rose water to guage its effectiveness as a facial toner yet. Since I just started using rose water recently.

The product has a strong chemical smell. It's so different from other rose water I have purchased before. Unfortunately they have a no return policy - which I did not realize.

I hesitated to order this based on all the reviews that claimed this had a strong chemical smell but ordered it because I thought I could find out for myself and I’m not really looking to cook with it. Boy am I glad I went ahead and ordered it! This smells like fresh roses and oh my it’s divine! Not sure what others ordered and received but mine is perfect and came in a dark colored plastic bottle! Not sure about how it will work but so far, I’m happy

I wasn't fond of the smell of this rosewater. The price was great however. Has a very strong smell.

I use it as a mixture with aloe vera juice for a daily hair moisturizer. I know it will do it's job in that regard but man, the chemical smell is so strong. Even in a mist bottle with 1/3 rose water, 1/3 aloe vera juice and 1/3 regular water, the smell is so overpowering.

I love the smell. In the morning, I add rose water into warm water, it is so refreshing

I Learned This IS A WONDERFUL SHAVE CREAM TOO!!I FORGOT TO USE THIS EVERYDAY...SO I DON’T KNOW IF IT AIDES IN THE “EYELASH” Growth Department!!
