CATEYECC-PA100W Padrone

Was looking for a reliable easy to read speedometer for my other halfs bike. This fits the bill perfectly, is easy to set up and being wireless is nice and neat. Enough functions for the casual cyclist without loads of stuff she doesn't need, very pleased.

I already have one of these on one of my bikes so got another. The functions may be a bit basic for some users but for me its ideal (shows speed, time, distance and averages). Great item in my opinion.

Looked good but picked up lots of interference like my older (small) cateye did but this was really bad. Gave lots of random readings like my maximum speed was 65mph and I’d achieved 45 miles distance while I sat in a cafe. Surprised Cateye has not ironed out these glitches by now. Shame because it looked nice and did everything I needed it to.

The product looks great and is reasonably priced. I had in a previous post suggested that the computer was flawed but with hindsight, the product is secure when connected to the Out-front bracket - it's just that you have to push the computer unit quite hard into the bracket for the catch to be activated. So a very useful addition to one's bike ride - happy to amend my review to 5 stars!

Really like this computer but it has a major flaw. I use a flashing front light when riding and this blocks the signal to the computer causing the current speed mode to not function.I now have to ride with a full on light or no light at all, never had this problem with any other computers.Apart from this problem when it's working its great, just press down on the unit to change modes, no more messing about with tiny buttons or swipe screens.It is difficult to remove from the bracket, easirt just to unscrew the knurled nut on the side and remove it still attached to its mount.Incidently I have one on my mtb and another on my road bike and have the same issue with flashing lights.
