Everyone should try this deck
I have been reading Tarot for over 10 years and this is by far and away the best deck I have found for reading. It is beautiful, though not the most beautiful I own but what I love about it is that is is based on the old tarot traditions and owes nothing to the Rider Waite. Not that there is anything wrong with that deck, I have one myself and use it often, but there are so many Rider clones out there. I also like reading tarot with plain pip cards, although these are technically plain they are beautiful in themselves. This deck has nothing whatsoever in it to offend or upset the client for whom you read, some are embarrassed by nudity, there is none. Many are concerned by the graphic images of the cards, the 10 of swords in particular I have found can frighten people and I don't want to do that. These cards allow me flexibility in the way I give the information, to explain the context of more challenging cards.Maybe I agree as the previous reviewer said harder for a beginner. That said having learned on the Marseilles myself I think plainer cards give more scope for learning, too much reliance on pictures can limit you when switching between decks.(I have one little thing about these that makes me curious about this deck. The Knave of Swords looks as though he should be the King and vice versa. Not that it makes any odds to the readings).

Beautiful artwork but.....
I love the artwork on this deck but the border is hideous. If it was borderless or had a simple border like the Thoth deck with a keyword at the bottom, it would be perfect.

Crystal tarot deck
This deck is very beautiful, but it is quite a difficult one for beginners, in my opinion, because the pip cards look similar in each of the suits, so it's kind of hard to base your readings on the images. The major arcana and court cards (4 of them: king, queen, knight, and knave) on the other hand, are beautifully drawn, and are quite evocative.

Beautiful, classic
I love this deck, as it's visually pleasing and feels clear.8= Justice, instead of popular Ryder decks.
