Q: I lost my instructions, how do or should i clean this? scrub it down with soap and water or do i use something else? any help from owners appreciated.

Q: Is low setting for mist actually low? I had another that the low setting was not much different than high and too much mist.

I love this little thing. The low setting is barely visible honestly. Biggest pro in my opinion is that it doesn't create any damp areas on the carpet in front of it

Q: My machine is making a horrible high pitch buzzing sound when you turn it on. How can I fix this??

Just some suggestions, in case you haven't tried them already. 1. Of course, ensure you have enough water in there. 2. Fill with a 50/50 water/vinegar mix and let sit for about a half hour. Then let it run for about 10 minutes. Drain and rinse well. 3. I have very hard water where I live. To prevent calcium build-up, I use filtered water (ex. Pur water pitcher). It removes a lot, not all, of the mineral and helps minimize the crust that can hinder humidifier function. 4. Make sure you are careful when filling and cleaning so water does not get into the motor compartment. If it does, give it a good shake and let it dry for a day. And hope its ok.
