Maped Galactic One Hole Pencil Sharpener (Assorted Colours)

Always a fan of Maped sharpeners, since my very random first experience with one as a kid (it lasted the longest out of all the sharpeners I remember and made an impression). This one doesn't disappoint! Cheap, I was lucky enough to receive my favorite color of the available options (a dark pink), and it sharpened my colored pencils flawlessly. I do have a couple of pencils that are basically duds, and it eventually did an okay job on those too; that said, the button to eject broken tips only sort of works, but it does make removing the tip easier.

Have been using one of these for several years - great little thing. My sister saw mine and asked me to get one for her.She is very pleased with it. We use them a lot when we do our "adult colouring" pages. Wouldn't be without one.

sharpens really well without damaging pencils. The container is a good size whilst being small enough to fit inside a pencil case and the lead ejection system is brilliant for smaller children

Great sharpener

Solid, easy to use and the sharpener compartment stays on after repeated use.

Best all round sharpener on the market. Compact yet will hold a fair no. of pencil shavings. It empties very easily and the best feature it has is that it has a clever push button to eject any broken lead in the bladed area. I somehow gave mine to one of my students and later regretted it as I have been unable to find it in major supermarkets. However, was very pleased to see it listed here and so have now ordered it.
