I bought this as a gift for my son. It was absolutely beautiful. He absolutely loved it! The design was gorgeous, the cover was soft, but best of all (per my son) is that it has a lock! I would definitely recommend, and when this one gets half full, I will definitely buy again!

Edit/update: The seller immediately made the purchase right. I was impressed by the quick response. Hopefully I just ended up with a defective one and this isn’t the normal.The outside is beautiful. However the description was misleading. I opened the 2nd page to start writing and the binding was separated. Not sure if mine is just a defect. The outside has such craftsmanship and the inside is like a preschooler glued a book together.

I've forgot my code.But found the solution 😁If you scroll through the numbers you will notice on the left side of each code wheel there is a notch. But only for one of 10 numbers for each wheel. Write that down, mine was 754. Your combination is on the "opposite side" of the wheel - see the picture, the graph. So mine was 209.

This is probably my favorite thing ever. It’s sturdy and pocket size. Feels phenomenal as far as quality just wish it opened a little better. Love the lock function.

I really loved the thought of an impenetrable diary to write my most vile deep dark secrets in without fear of them being seen by any eyes other than my own. Cue this diary book up please. And then it came with the typically serviceable quality and design one expects nowadays, but oh woe do pay attention to the finer details in the product description. Somewhere, deeply embedded either in the ad itself or as a business reply to a customer complaint it does say that in the realm of protecting the book's innards accessing the passcode lock may prove difficult.I followed the instructions for setting my own passcode EXACTLY as the instructions are written. Because it is obvious that the author of said instructions is not a native user of the English language there were some areas of questionable commands and explanations in those instructions but I plowed forward. And voila- the diary opened up with my new passcode!That first time.The second time... nope. Multiple attempts... nope. The only thing that had changed from that first successful application to all further tries was the slow frustrating passage of time.I had to write to the seller for instructions on how to RESET the passcode because what was listed in the directions I had proved useless. It was here that the true demon side of this journal came forward. NOT EVEN THE MAKERS KNOW HOW TO RESET THE CURSED BOOK! The reps I exchanged messages with were as inept at explaining the process as the original set of directions were.I finally managed to open the thing without having to resort to a crowbar but listen. Save yourself the hassle and either buy a different product from a different seller or get an old fashioned lock/key design and risk losing the key. Unless you want to subject yourself to various Wiley Coyote plots to break into your own bought and paid for journal this product is a hot mess.
