Awesome upgrade that can save you back!
This was the simplest upgrade I have ever made to anything! Here are the steps -1. Hook the trailer up to your tow vehicle for support.2. Remove the 3 bolts holding the old crank jack in-place. Mine were threaded to the trailer frame so there were no nuts.3. Remove the jack's foot. It will be pinned with simple clip locking it to the post.4. Unbox the new electric jack and put it in the existing trailer frame hole.5. Put the supplied star washers on the bolts you saved. These scratch the paint to make contact with the trailers metal for grounding purposes.6. Find the right hole pattern on the jack and align it to the trailer, insert your bolts and washers.7. Tighten everything up and double check.8 Simply connect the 7-pin connector to the towing vehicle like you would your normal trailer plug.9. Operate the switch to raise and lower the jack post. Be sure to have your vehicle turned on or you will not have power to the rear plug-in.10. There is a separate switch to turn the jack's lights on but you will likely not need them. Some reported that the jack is slow and noisy but I like the speed since it keeps you from making a move that might damage something. Noisy? Not really. Who's listening anyway? If this lasts for at least 2 years I will have saved my back a lot of cranking. Well worth the cost and after a few months of use I will order 4 more of these for my other job trailers. Great and simple product and I love the attached 7-way cord and plug.

Solid and convenient support for RV travel trailer
Solid jack with nice-looking black powder-coat. Went on minutes using old bolts. Moves slowly due to heavy gears, but allows you time to catch problems with any shifting. Mine only made a loud noise when you hit the shaft end points, but marked clear stop points with a Sharpy to avoid any fuse problems. Socket included in case you need to ratchet manually. Lights look useless in daylight, but actually help at night. The 7-pin connector is super convenient with enough length to maneuver the truck. Connector wiring comes with a velcro to bundle it up. I converted from a manual jack, so the motor head didn't allow me to lower the tailgate - essential when traveling with dogs. Had to purchase an extended hitch receiver for the extra 2" required, then needed extra links for the safety chains. Purchased an Ultra-fab cover to reduce weathering of connector cable. Well worth the minor adjustments - now much easier pressing a lever than cranking in the heat with a sore back!!

Simply a bad product
I ordered this jack to replace the jack on our work trailer. We received it and went to put install it on the trailer and got ready to plug it in and noticed the 7 way plug only had to metal contacts and no center contact at all. We tried it anyway, did not work. I requested a replacement and we received that 3 days later. The same issue with the plug. The package clearly shows a 7 way plug with all the metal contacts in place, a proper plug. We have received 2 jacks from this company with defected plugs. I am not giving them a 3rd chance. You expect to receive a product as described with proper working parts and the entire product to be in working order. Not what you get on this product.

Great Customer Service and Great Product.
Received as a Christmas gift from my wife (2017) so didn't get it installed until the Spring. It was an incredibly simple and straight-forward installation that took maybe 10 minutes, start to finish. First use occurred on Memorial Day weekend for a camping trip. It was a pure joy to use and was very appreciated. However, upon returning home the jack just stopped working, after unhitching the trailer at home. The motor would turn on, but it wouldn't raise/lower at all. I contacted Ultra-Fab and was shipped out (overnight) a replacement jack immediately. Great customer service and the new one is working great. Thanks Ultra-Fab - highly recommended.

all good. Sent message to seller to get a hold ...
Used twice, went to use it the third time............nothing!!!! Checked my connections, all good. Sent message to seller to get a hold of me, we'll see how long that takes. At this point I would not recommend this product, but it might change if I can get a quick resolution to this problem!!Update, the problem must have been with my last trailer connector on the previous truck, I hooked it up to my new truck the other day and the jack works just fine!! May 2019. So I changed my rating, by the way, I lost the rubber rain cap for the manual crank, so I requested a new one and was willing to pay for it, to my surprise they sent me a new one........no charge!!!! Kuddos to you guys!!!! Thanks

The 7 pin connector was SUPER loose and wouldnt stay plugged in unless I held ...
Mailing this back tomorrow. Doesnt work! The 7 pin connector was SUPER loose and wouldnt stay plugged in unless I held it in and even holding it firmly in, still no power. I had vehicle running and I absolutely have my 7 pin wired to charge my batteries while traveling, so I have 12 volt power back there. So frustrating. Also, the box showed a solid black power cord, but inside the cord was red and black. The item appears to have been purchased and returned before. The box had lots of tape on it and it was in rough shape. It was also leaking oil.

Good Jack, Durable Finish, Good Warranty
I have ordered (3) of these units. (1) failed after 1.5 year of heavy/frequent use. Company replaced under warranty. The last unit I ordered included paperwork indicating the Manufacturer’s Warranty had been extended to (3) years. Will continue to use these jacks.

Good product, but shorter than anticipated
Was super easy to install and get running. Its a little shorter than my other hitch, so I'll have to use a block or brick to get the extra height. For our travel trailer its important to be able to not only remove the trailer from our ball hitch, but also level out the trailer. This will work well and save me a ton of energy cranking - but will need some extra hardware for those occasions where I need to get the nose up in the air to level things out.
