Fit a specific need
I'm sure people use these for a variety of purposes. I'm using them to make workable ( able to open and close ) hatches on a 1/16 scale model Panzer IV tank. The tank features a fully detailed interior and I want it to be able to be seen. I'm pretty sure these will fit the bill, even if they are not a clone of the original 1944 hinge. In this case I'll sacrifice historical accuracy for workability. Some reviewers indicated the hinges didn't move through the full range or were stiff, but I didn't encounter that problem with the few I examined. I also see a future use for these in dioramas, on doors and gates. Sure beats scratch building hinges out of sheet brass! These are a great value for the cost, and I recommend them without reservations.

WONDER Small Hinges
I needed some hinges for a 1/3 scale End-Table and these were perfect. The nails that come with them have a thick head, which does not allow the hinge to close properly. Therefore, after they were installed I used my Dremel Tool to slowly grind the nail head down to a thinner size.

Perfect for miniatures!!
Just what I was looking for! The only downside is that the nails that come with it are not miniature friendly! Way too long for any project I would use them for! Thank God for e6000!

Good hinges, but definitely light duty.
Hinges are perfect for the projects I had in mind. Please note that the hinges are very light duty. Only complaint is I broke two of the screws because I did not predrill. Make certain that you predrill.

Just what I needed
Needed these for a project with my kids. They are plenty strong for the size and we are happy with them!

Poor quality. Heads of screws come completely off the posts..
Save yourself wasted money and frustration. The heads of the screws came off the posts without any force. The posts are now imbedded in the item that I was attempting to attach the hinges to and ruined the item.

Perfect for miniatures
Very small, but strong! Workable hinges that open and close very smoothly! Lovely gold finish. The only con is that the nails that are included are a little long if you are using on miniatures, but you can sand and glue them on instead!
