Works well, reduces weeds, expands well

I have a patch in my garden which is exposed soil and a number of plants. I didn't want to put a weed membrane down because I would have to lift it up again when digging in the soil and applying fertiliser to my roses and fruit bushes so I got this.I applied to the area and wet with a hose. I then used a rake to distribute it evenly across the area. When wet it smells a bit like being on a farm.Its been down for 2 months now and no sign of any weeds! I'm delighted.

Bought this mulch 6 months ago and has served its purpose amazingly! Has protected the soil in the vegetable patch from being frozen during the winter and has prevented weeds forming reducing the work I needed to do around my garden

This product is light enough to be able to handle the bags easily. Very easy to distribute over the flower beds. Absorbs water and expands massively to create a good top covering. The smell is pleasant, and I have a feeling that cats don't care much to walk on it - bonus! Looks strangely attractive - several people have said how good it looks, and are curious as to what it is. I will certainly be buying more of it.

Placed it down in garden early in the year, thickly. Have been so impressed with the results on weed control, I've ordered more to place on the other borders. Plants have done well as they haven't dried out so much in this dry weather. Recommend it.

this item was at the start good and looked great and i was so impressed i bought two lots, fast forward a month after some heavy rain and the smell is terrible very much like ammonia so bad its allful , i just dont know why this is happening all i can think is its holding the water so long its gone rancid , i am now struggling to remove it from all my raised beds and boarders .

Very expensive,personally prefer bark,it's ok learned something,i will never buy this again

Brilliant product. A bit expensive, but so easy to spread around my precious plants and trees. Will always use this in future.
