Very dim bulb
Very dim.Half the brightness of the regular bulb.Saved it for emergency use only.Buy the incandescent version.

Different kind of light beam
As others have noted, this creates a central point of light as opposed to the spread out of the incandescent filament. It has to do with the physics of the reflector bowl. The little square led does not emit light as widely as an incandescent bulb and therefore the reflector doesn't work as effectively. Considering that I would use this to focus on a spot I'm working on, I think it will work for me. But I would not buy this again.

but better than the original bulb
Bought this to put in my Porter Cable 18volt flashlight/work light.Works very well, not quite as bright as I had hoped, but better than the original bulb.But with the batteries that I have, it should be a keeper.I'll tell you if I find otherwise.

Lights my world!
Used this bulb to replace a standard one in my Hitachi flashlight, the added constant current leaves it much brighter, lasts longer per battery charge, and much more durable. I was a bit afraid when I saw the padded envelope for shipping, but it had a cardboard box, with bubble wrap, and a plastic case with padding!

Works as advertised!
Purchased for use in a Dewalt 18v flashlight, it's working as pretty much as advertised. LED technology promises excellent shock resistance and lower power consumption. I'll update my review if anything changes.

great light bulbs
great light bulbs. but you must check the polarity of you flashlight the tip of the bulb must be positive + if not the bulb will not lite up and will burn up. I found this out by putting it into a dewalt flex head lite. I had to rewire it to make it work. I burnt up 1 bulb . so just check. regular bulbs do not have a polarity issue.

Replacement bulb for an incandescent
This replacement bulb for a Milwaukee 12 V flashlight was not as bright as I had hoped for. It is adequate but not really really bright. As far as durability I could not say as I have just installed it.
