Antifungal Powder - 45 G

Keeps my feet dry - the first ingredient is cornstarch, which I have used for a long time as a body powder because of its ability to keep my feet dry. The second ingredient is talc, which I also like. Together these two ingredients keep my feet smooth and dry, I even put this powder on at night before bed because it feels so good. The third ingredient is the Active Ingredient 1% Tolnaftate. My podiatrist recommended this powder to sprinkle in my shoes after having lazar treatment on my toenail fungus. I was unable to locate antifungal powder in stores. Between the lazar treatment, 30 days of prescription Lamisil and bathing my foot in apple cider vinegar, all consecutively for the first month, for the first time in 20 years I have all nice toenails! I began 7 months ago with the above treatments and, as my podiatrist recommended, have continued using (on alternating days or morning & evening) antifungal cream, Claris (a topical antifungal like clear toenail polish) . . . both available on Amazon, and I also added the long-time well established fungus treatment of apple cider vinegar only now I don't soak my toe in it using a plastic shoe box, I keep it in a squeeze bottle like the ones for salad dressing or catsup at the discount stores, and just hold my foot over the toilet while I squeeze it over my toes and top and bottom of my toes & foot. Then I rub in the anti fungal cream. At night I apply powder (again, over the potty) then the topical toenail treatment Claris, which my podiatrist carried and provided me with. When I went back 4 months later for my re-check to the podiatrist (who I found through an email offer at a discount from Amazon Local) he announced there was no need for another lazar treatment at that time. I was willing to pay the additional $100 if necessary after being miserable with this infliction for so many years and using, rather ineffectively, toe nail polish to disguise it when wearing sandals or going barefoot. We agreed that if I see any sign of toenail fungus I will return for another lazar treatment. BTW, the first treatment was a special offer of $150. Yes, I know it's a lot of money, but worth it for me to look down at my toenails and have them all looking normal! Also: I ordered on Amazon a Nail Care Plus Personal Manicure/Pedicure Set for 29.37. The podiatrist used a cordless drill type tool with a cone shaped file bit to smooth out the top of my big toe nail (the one recovering from fungus). It smoothed out the unevenness of the now heavily ridged nail - be careful, don't get the nail too thin. My Amazon file is much less powerful than his, but does the job just fine.

my husband has the worst time with athletes foot. they are always so red dry and itchy. to the point where it was annoying to me lol. i got this for him to put in his socks for during the day. he is always on his feet. hes a diesel mechanic so u can imagine why he would have such a trial with is feet. this has helped him so much along with the natural anti-fungal that i got him. he puts this powder on at night time too and helps with the itching after his very hot showers.

The powder was effective in controlling my athletes foot issues. The applicator gets clogged and needs to be tapped against the floor to clear the applicator.

I have been using this powder for years, and it is awesome, between the toes, or in the fold of skin left and right of the genitals. However, the nozzle is such a small hole, that it easily gets plugged. Also, the plastic container is much smaller than the competitor container, so it is harder to squeeze. The powder product is useful for many reasons but mostly for fighting fungus infections, quickly and effectively.

Ladies AND Gents...I mix this with Cornstarch Baby Powder for use in shoes/boots, bras/panties, and in the summer---a little sprinkle underarms. I even carry the original small one in my purse with the mixture. Killing fungus stops the itches and leaves one feeling fresh and comfortable. Controlling perspiration in a healthy manner that allows you to sweat, but killing the odor-causing fungus, is what's up! I use my mixture all year long as needed. I hope this helps somebody. I have the liquid Tolhaftate, as well.
