These are the simple plastic frames that have the thin plastic sides that all slide off, allowing you to center your pic and then slide the side pieces back on, holding the pic between the backing and the clear plastic front. I usually buy these locally but was in a rush and tried this three pack. From buying them locally, I know they are somewhat fragile. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well these were packed and to see that the clear plastic front part of the frame is protected on both sides with an easy to remove clear film, which protects them from being scratched before display. Nice item, great price, fast shipping. We use these to hang large pics in a house with active kids. If someone knocks a picture off the wall, we aren't cleaning up glass or worried about injuries. It is the perfect frame for a kids room too, as they can frame and unframe their own art or posters that they like easily when their tastes change.

I bought these to put my granddaughters diamond art in. They worked perfect. Easy to frame the picture. Great price. Surface was protected with film, and very easy to hang.

We needed to hang some art by our oldest kid (the drawings were 25 years old, but we don't care) after we had repainted the living room. Unfortunately, the 3M strips I chose were not strong enough, so both pieces fell and the inexpensive frames broke.We found this set of 3 frames on Amazon, and the price fit our very tight budget. After getting new, stronger 3M strips, also from Amazon, I reframed the art.The frames were very simple to use; if you watch the instructional video, the process is exactly like that. But I don't think the video showed the consumers just how tricky FINDING the plastic film is. I just could not find the film on the second side of the acrylic when I framed the first piece of art, so I just let it go. But I DID find the second film on the second frame, using my hubby's new, super powerful magnifying glass (also from Amazon; I really dislike shopping these days). An "a-ha" moment. So I took the first frame apart, very easy, and using the magnifying glass, I found the second film. What a difference that made! Truly worth the effort of taking the frame apart. Putting it back together again was actually easier, since it was the third time I had assembled the frames.These are cheap, so they are light. One frame, all assembled with the art in it, was lighter than the backing of the original frame we got back in 1999, and that was a cheap, simple frame, too.So although these are cheap and light, that is a good thing, because your hanging system is less likely to fail, unless your hanging system is a thumbtack in drywall: that ain't gonna work! These frames are light, but not that light. And because they are so very simple, they will not attract any attention away from whatever you have in the frame.I am very happy with these frames. We shall see how they hold up. While I gave them 4 stars because they are so light and flimsy-feeling, there really is nothing wrong with these frames, and I would buy them again if I needed more. I still have one left (it's a package of 3 frames), so I am thinking of getting a photo blown up to fit this last frame.If you want a luxurious, expensive-looking frame for your print or photo, keep looking. But if you want simple and cheap, and easy to use, I strongly recommend these frames.

I bought these for ease of hanging. They are light enough to use with those "damage free" Velcro hang strips. The quality is fine and while they do not look expensive they look nice enough. You can easily sand and paint the plastic edges if you don't like the colors offered.

I did not realize how thin this frame was despite the product images. I’m keeping them for the price and because the picture I’m putting in there is simple artwork but I would get something else for nicer images or if you want this to stand out. It’s very flimsy and cheap looking.

Bought a bunch of these to decorate my man cave with my favorite movie posters. Pretty easy to set-up and use -- if I get more movie posters -- I'll be buying these again.

I purchased these frames to hang some posters on my wall because I wanted a cleaner look than the raw edge of a poster. These were fairly cheap so I certainly wasn't expecting high end finishes or materials to be used, but with that being said, the materials are definitely cheap. The (what would be glass in a typical frame) covering is just plastic but it was nicely prepared with protective sheets that you take off before use which was nice. The edges of the frame are not connected and you have to slide them all off and back on again to get the artwork into the frame, which I had never seen before, but it works, you just need to adjust the corners to make sure they are touching/flush. The good thing about it being pretty much all plastic is it is lightweight so you don't need to use heavy duty nails to hang it as well as you don't have to worry about damaging the glass because there is none. I'm satisfied with the product!
