This came in a vacuum bag, it was a bit stuck together but unfolded easier once I stood up and waved it about while unfolding. It does grip my rug well on wood flooring, but does smell quite plasticy when you take it out the bag. the smell does go down as it airs and It does the job of stopping the rug slipping.

I'm using this to grip a rug on the vinyl flooring, without the gripper, it was sliding around everywhere but with this gripper, it stays solidly to the floor. I had to cut it to size which was really easy with a pair of scissors. I knocked one star off because of the chemical/rubber smell that was quite strong when it was first put down, but the smell has since disappeared.

The CUQOO rug underlay arrived folded into a compact vacuum-packed package. When opened, there was initially a rather strong odour of rubber/plastic - fortunately this has now faded.The anti-slip underlay is easy to cut to size and so far seems to be performing as expected and keeping the rug in our living room where it’s supposed to be. There was enough in the package to pop under the runner in our hallway too.

Kind of does what it says on the tin. We put this under our living room rug, which would slide about so easily as we have a laminated kind of hard floor. Every time we walked across the room it would move, and when you sit on the sofa your feet inevitably push the rug away from you.So along comes this stuff... and it stops all that. It comes tightly vacuum packed and is quite thin when you open it out, very similar to other stuff I have on narrower rolls of the stuff, but on the hard floor with the rug on top it works great. In fact being quite thin we find it better than some chunky bubbly stuff we tried where you can actually feel that through the rug! This stuff is like fit it and forget it's there.Hey presto, no more sliding rug. For under a tenner for a piece this size it's priced about right too.

Every morning you can guarantee that my 17 year old daughters mattress has 3/4 slipped off the divan base.Racking my brains for a cheap fix to this problem and before I end up splashing out on a new bed base and mattress for her, I thought this may work as it seems to stop mats and rugs from slipping on the floor.Unfortunately, this hasn't worked.To be fair, It doesn't claim to stop mattresses slipping of the bed base, I thought I would just try anyway...

The media could not be loaded.  I have a couple of rugs in the dining room which keep slipping and sliding around.I needed something that wasn’t going to be permanent so I could move the rug but could prevent casual slipping.These work a treat - they won’t stop it slipping for someone really looking to move the rug but for day to day slippage these have done what they said on the tin.

We ordered this to put under the large rug in our living room which tends to slide around on the hard floor. We simply unfolded it, laid it out on the floor, and placed the rug on top and voilà, no more sliding rug! The fabric is thin enough that you don’t notice it under the rug and it could be cut to size if you had a smaller rug. This item does exactly what we’d hope and cannot fault it whatsoever.
