Very usefull, cuts guesswork out

We had an old fashioned metal gauge that wasn’t very good, as the prongs used to bend easy. This product is lightweight, well made and lockable so you don’t loose the shape. A good buy

The media could not be loaded. This tool is so understated. The box is quite bland with just the one front sticker and you don't get and instructions, just the device.This may at first seem a bit lacking, but it just doesn't need any of that. It's so easy and intuitive to use, simply push all of the blades to the bottom (or top), and push against the angle you want to replicate. Then just click over the locking mechanism and that's it, you have a near perfect copy of the required cut!!I am so pleased that I ordered this device, I just wish I'd ordered one last year when I put my hard floor down, doing it by eye is OK, but this would have saved me a few ruined planks for sure.As you can probably tell, I'm really impressed with this tool. For the price, i think it's a very well made, tough little helper. You may not need it all the time, but it still deserves a place in your tool box for the times you do.

It works really well, I like that I can lock it in position and it holds the shape securely.The tabs are fairly thin which allows me to get higher accuracy profiles and tighter fitting joints.It's perfect for wooden flooring as you can use it to mark the shape around pipes or door frames to make the flooring fit perfectly with no gaps.Overall it's a great addition to my toolbox and I am very pleased with how well it works.

Simple but effective tool, great for flooring and cutting round awkward shaped walls and skirting - although it is easy to use and makes shaping floor tile much easier, this one is a bit stiff compared to others I have used. It does have a lock once you have done a contour, just push the lever to lock. Such a time saver. £12.99 a okay price for an essential diy kit.

A really handy and probably an essential bit of kit for the DIY enthusiast, for those tricky projects around the home.This gauge tool is great for small tasks when you need to take an impression of a profile, for example, when you are laying wooden flooring and you need to make a cut around a door frame, pipework or any other obstacle that isn’t square and may be difficult to accurately mark out on your material.The profile gauge is made up of individual sliding blades, that give you a really good almost millimetre perfect result. The best thing about this gauge is that once you have defined your shape, there is a locking clip on the side, which keeps all of the shaped blades in place, so that nothing moves whilst you sketch it out on the material you are going to cut.The gauge is incredibly simple to use and saves you lots of time in guesswork, trying to figure out a way in which to overcome your obstacle.This tool works really well and I am really pleased with its performance. If I am being a little picky, it would be good if the blades could’ve been made a little longer, just to give a bit more depth in creating shapes over a longer distance, but I guess ordinarily, this sized gauge is for smaller projects anyway.A really fab product and one that should be in all home toolboxes. I would recommend it.
