I bought this keyboard last week primarily for my son using in elementary school (he's a 3rd grader). I like the design that the keyboard and iPad mini can close as a laptop-like device (it closes pretty tight). Although keyboard size is relatively small, it fits my son's smaller hand without any problem. He seems to like the keyboard a lot.I don't typically know what's the battery life per use, and it's something can be enhanced (that's why I took one star off). However, given the price, it's a pretty good keyboard with bluetooth connectivity.Will update the comment after a period of time to see what the reliability like.

I sent this after a short time I used it. Never got a response. Also the keyboard slips off.I recently purchased keyboard model: FLH009W and one of my shift keys fell off and was lost. Also, the mini iPad keeps slipping of the keyboard.After reviewing your product warranty card I am making an effort to ask you how you can accommodate me for the issues listed above with the lost key, and mini iPad slipping off the keyboard. The product connected easily for me but as noted here in other reviews the manual is terrible. I had to ask a question to the community and they helped me. There is a bit of a delay when typing, but that might be due to my wireless/Bluetooth. Taking this on a trip next month so will get to see how it fares being on the road.

I have an iPad mini 4 and an 11.6-inch laptop. I recently started college back in September which is strictly online. Since I would spend most of my day at work. I wanted to have the ability to do some school work as well while at work. Therefore I thought of purchasing a wireless keyboard for my iPad mini. I searched high and low and for a great quality cost affordable keyboard that would get the job done. That's when I ran across this one and first fell in love with the color and also the really great reviews I read on it.Everyone that passes my desk at work and see it stops just to admire the cuteness and amazed by the size and quality of the keyboard. I must admit it is small and tying on it will take some time getting used too. Overall, I haven't had a bad experience with it. The battery is good but lasts maybe a good average of about 4 to 5 hours before needing to be charged again

Never used my iPad so much in my LIFE before this. Absolutely fabulous. I’ve only charged it once and I’ve had it over a month now. I use it nearly every day. I have to reconnected it if I haven’t used it in a while—going into settings and all, but it’s amazing. Also I told everyone in my grad cohort and the ones with iPads got one and we all agree. GET IT.

The keyboard is compact and identical in size to the iPad Mini 2. The iPad fits snuggly into two holding brackets and folds backwards to a 130 degree angle. I would like to see it extend further to perhaps around 150-160 degrees but once you do that it becomes top heavy and will fall backwards, hence that is why it does not go further than 130 degrees. (Perhaps, in future design, there could be an added weight to the front of the iPad to accommodate for a better viewing angle.) I have not used it extensively, but one other small problem that I overcame was the location of the apostrophe; use the Fn+o key. All in all, this is nice little device for the price. It would be good to use on trips where you need to travel light.

Perfect, affordable keyboard. Charge lasts forever and it looks like a mini Macbook! You get used to the size and shape of the keys, being that everything has to be very small. Only removed one star because it feels pretty hollow/cheap and the keys are loud, but I can get past these things for the price. Also doubles as a case and I do think it will protect my screen. The keys are regular computer keys, not like Macbook flat keys, just as an FYI.

I like the color, but the keyboard comes off the unit when you open it to type. The keys are very loud (clacking ) while typing others around me found it distracting while in a meeting. Also very stiff to open while attrached to iPad. Wish the keyboard was illuminated !

Typing my review on this little keyboard right now :) I found the shipping fast and the packaging was simple yet sturdy. Instructions weren't perfect English but certainly understandable and easy to follow. Connecting the keyboard to my iPad mini was a very simple and short process and it connected easily on the first try. I find the keys quite clicky which doesn't bother me but I mention it because I know that it bothers some people very much. Also the keyboard and keys are quite small, so anyone with large fingers or hands may have a hard time typing on this unless they us the two-finger method for typing. I myself am going to have to get used to typing on it and I have relatively small to medium sized hands for a female.The stand holds my mini firmly and opens and closes smoothly enough. Overall a great buy and the price is about right.

Clever accessory! Works great! Acts as a case for my iPad while having a fully functional keyboard. Keys are a bit condensed, as expected, to fit the size of the iPad so my fingers will have to adjust. It’s equivalent to using a tiny netbook. Love it.

Initially this keyboard worked as described. Not the best keyboard (Zagg has one with backlighting, better key layout and key action, though with far worse hold on the iPad-- and at more than 3x the price), but good enough for the cost.However, this week -- just over 3 months from purchase -- the keyboard isn't typing, although it shows up as connected in my iPad Bluetooth menu.This is really unacceptable, even at this price point.

I have to say I expected some lightly built keyboard that would maybe last for 6 months and be disposable. Wasn't I surprised to find the keyboard is quite robust and well built. I can't say it will last any longer than the 6 months I stated earlier but by the looks of it, I expect it to provide great service for years to come.

Works well. It is a little on the noisy side. The weight of the iPad mini is a little bit too much to keep it from flipping back if not on a solid table (i.e. in my lap). Otherwise worth the money.
