I have search for a while for a good, decorative bread storer. I really liked this one. It was not difficult to put together - although some of peices were a little difficult. It's GREAT for what I need it for and it looks nice on the countertop!

I received and put this thing together last night, I'm very handy and this little bread box wasn't hard to assemble but the directions aren't great. BUT...this thing is actually better looking than the pictures! It is a corner unit so it doesn't have a ton of storage but we were able to get two full bagel bags and a whole loaf of bread inside. The dual (top and bottom) capacity is a great idea. It fits perfectly under our cabinets and look WAY more expensive than it actually is. The only thing I wish they would have added was a magnet or latch to keep the doors closed. They are not loose by any means but it would have been a nice addition out of the box.

No more wasted corner space on my kitchen counter. Changed the knobs for gold ones and it’s as cute and clean as could be. Well made. Easy to put together. Holds a ton of herbs and supplements that I hate sitting out on the counter. So great for organizing those things I need quick and frequent access to that I don’t have room for in my upper cabinets.

Our bread box showed up on time, in good shape and was easily put together and on our counter within a few minutes. Easy assembly with just a screwdriver. You can easily do this alone but an extra pair of hands will always help. Instructions were clear and concise. Right now we have a full loaf of bread on one shelf and some bagels and other pastries on the other. More than enough space for what you need. Sits well below our cabinets (actually matches the color too) so we have space to store a few items, including our phones as we charge them. Definitely cleans up our countertop and creates more space.Was a little hesitant at first because of some of the reviews but honestly, if you have trouble putting this bread box together then I’m not sure how you can tie your shoes. It’s so simple and basic. AND if it shows up to your house damaged, just get a replacement…thats on Amazon. Anyway, very happy with our purchase and even happier to support a Veteran owned company based in the US. If you want to send your money to China, there are plenty of options!

We bought this because it said made in the USA. It may be veteran owned but it's outsourced to China. That is very misleading. The alignment is extremely poor making it very difficult to put together. The boards do not line up. The front knobs don't even align. The instructions are also difficult because it refers to knurled dowels, but all the dowels are smooth and there were supposed to be other wooden dowels, but they are metal. This is NOT something you want in your kitchen. If you have an ounce of OCD the misalignment of the knobs will drive you batty.

I purchased this to use as a breadbox. The first one they sent me didn’t come with hardware. So they sent me a replacement. It was a little tricky to get together but when it was done it’s pretty sturdy. The problem is the smell. There’s no way I’m putting bread in this. I’ve wiped it down and let it sit out side for a few days and the smell isn’t going away. I don’t wanna take it all back apart so I am using it for a glass display.Hopefully one day the smell will go away.

I had read the reviews for other bread boxes and settled on this one because it looked like a simple design and came with these small wooden dowels or pins that hold the pieces together while you’re assembling the box. Made a huge difference and I put it together in a few minutes. Despite it not being a huge box it fits a lot of bread and other items. I can keep my bread and pastries on the bottom and fruit up top. More than enough space! The doors stay closed and the magnets are pretty strong. It fits perfectly in the corner of my countertop so theres a lot less clutter around my sink. So far I really like it! Glad I chose this one!

Husband had to assemble it for me. I’m not completely stoopid, but he has a woodshop in his garage. The finished cupboard has plenty of room for a full loaf of store bought bread. Along with English muffins & a pack of hamburger buns. Perfect. I would expect unwrapped artisan bread to dry out rapidly. I almost lost complete use of the electric outlet on the wall, but was able to plug in my can opener & push the cupboard back. If you are bereft of outlets in your kitchen, measure the area carefully to make sure the box won’t obscure them. It smelled woody at first, but faded quickly. I’m glad to have found something useful that fits in that little piece of countertop between the stove & fridge. 3 stars instead of 4 because I doubt it would survive long with kids constantly banging it shut, & because I needed help to assemble.
