Great Price & Nicely Built
I’ve wanted a 2,000 lb capacity crane scale for a long time, but couldn’t justify the cost. I recently found the RoMech 2200 on Amazon for $60 and decided to give it a try. Very satisfied. Seems accurate & is compact and stores easily. I appreciate the rechargeable battery, but would prefer USB 3 charging to the dedicated charger (not a big deal for the price).I hope RoMech will consider producing a 10,000 lb capacity strain gauge (something else on my wishlist but current offerings from other companies are just beyond my budget)!

Great Value, Clear and large Display, Generic Remote
This feels like a well made scale. The shell is all metal in construction (I think cast aluminum), the screen is bright and the digits large enough to read from a distance, and the materials (clasp, hook) seem to be of good quality. You can switch between kg/lbs quickly and the scale is quick to update readings and stabilize. I really have no complaints about the scale. The included remote is a generic remote with buttons A/B/C/D-- luckily there is a sticker on the back telling you what the buttons do so you don't have to open the manual. While I'm not super impressed with the remote, it does work well, without delay, and from a distance-- which is great if the scale is too high and out of reach. I do wish the buttons were labeled and that there was a way to store the remote on the scale when not in use. I worry about losing the remote or the sticker (telling you what each button does) wearing off.Regardless of my quibbles on the remote, I still think that this scale is a great value for this price point ($55 at the time of this review). It works well, is easy to read and feels durable. It's hard to ask for more than that.

Strong accurate scale to weigh stuff
This scale is no joke it’s very cool. I made a lifting device and I lifted 1973lbs before my own Invention failed. The scale will easily hold a ton of weight. Highly recommend it has a good display and pretty accurate.

Quality hanging scale
I got this scale to hang in our garage. My husband uses it for work to weigh various objects. It is also nice to use to check how heavy our bags are before heading to the airport. So far it has worked great and when we checked it against known weights, it was accurate. It also comes with a little plastic remote to use instead of pressing the buttons on the scale itself. The scale is made of metal and itself is fairly lightweight but the hook adds a little bit of weight to it. I like that it is rechargeable and doesn't require the charger/power cord to be connected to it to use. However, you can also use two AA batteries to operate it. The only critique I have is that the backlight will dim too quickly after you put something on it to weigh and since it's mounted up in our garage, it can be hard to read the output unless we look really quickly. Other than that, the scale works really great and it feels like a quality product.

Horribly inaccurate. Reads 5.5x actual weight!
Tested this by hanging from it, as well as other known weights. It read 1,260 lbs when I hung from it! Also test weighed some items on my shipping scale, which has been accurate for 14 years, and it read approx 5.5 times the items actual weight! Returned, will buy something else.

Great way to measure theatre pieces
The media could not be loaded. I volunteer with a couple of community theatre groups, often building set, and some of the productions I help with are fortunate to run their productions on a stage with fly hardware and we can have set pieces flown into or out of a scene in the production. The challenge with flying set pieces into and out of the scene is you need to make sure you're accounting for all of the weight and balance needed for the pulley systems that allow for the moves to occur. Theoretical values from CAD software helps some of the initial work but there's a need for accurate measurements. Since community theatres run on a fairly tight budget, we've usually just made measurements with precariously balancing theatre flats (think 4' wide, 12' tall walls) on traditional scales. Having a hanging scale is a massive game-changer. Connecting it to a block and pully system has made it far easier and more accurate to include the weight of all components in the weight measurements. The saddle is easy to connect to our block-and-take system, and the spring clip is easy to connect to our flats or other fly hardware. The screen is large and easy to read, and even if it wasn't the remote control to tare or hold max weights is a great secondary option. It'd be nice if the remote wasn't so generic however the instructions and controls are labeled on the back of the remote and the controls are otherwise well-labeled on the main unit.
