Good Quality, but make sure your install tool has guts, the stainless takes a good deal of strength to crimp. A pneumatic install tool that works well with steel inserts, will NOT crimp these, takes a tool with a massive amount or OOMPH to get them to crimp down

I was able to fix a metal joint without a bolt head.

This is a part that has to work right all the time - that's what i got with this brand, this lot. The 6-32 is particularly difficult, since the fine thread requires a thin pulling mandrel. That means any inconsistency in the manufacture of the rivnut will break that mandrel - ouch! I have a 3-part method. First, a quality rivnet (this one works!), second a light coating of anti-seize on the mandrel, and 3rd, make sure to have a straight pull. Side loads break the mandrel! (And have spare mandrels in the toolbox!)

Replaced deck in my 18ft boat. Deck was not supported enough. So I had to construct additional aluminum stringers.Could not attach by welding due to location of gas tank. The rivnuts provided a means of constructing the stringers and attaching the to the main frame.. Great product to use in confined spaces or where safety is paramount.

Super pleased with these, used them to fix front sway bars on my v8 4runner that has notorious rust issues. I drilled out the rusty frame threads and popped this bad boy in there. You can install these using a long threaded nut and a long bolt, youtube has some detailed videos on how to install without the tool. I did it this way myself and now I got a little DIY tool to install too! Ended up doing two of these inserts over three months ago now and they are holding up great!
