LED Illuminated Suction Mounted 5" Mirror - 5x Magnified -Battery Operated

Im finding the magnifying nature of the mirror not idealThe magnifaction of the mirror is quite strong - so you have to get your face really close to mirror to see your eyes.Leaving you limited amount manoeuvrability with your fingers with the contact lens in.I use special Ortho K night time corrective lens that I put in at nightime before sleep - and I find it a pain to get fingers in right position with this mirror.Also being a travel style mirror - fairly small aperture so you can rotate your head around without losing focus.Also new set of Energizer batteries knackered in under a month - i wonder if the magnet on the base is pulling charge from the batteries inside the enclosure which are in line of sight of the magnet with a bit of metal in between to separate.Not the best mirror - if i had more light where i put in contact lens i wouldnt use this and go for a larger mirror non magnified.

Have had this since January 2015 and the first set of batteries are still working well. Even after I've accidentally left it on all day (twice!). I was initially concerned that it could fall off and crack the sink, as suction cups are prone to lose their integrity and have to be re-moistened, So I originally placed it as low as I could get it. Over time I have got used to doing a quick check on the suction every so often and have slowly moved it further up the tiled wall. No more Stooping now! Good magnification and would buy another if this stopped sticking, which might happen in a few years. Good price for an item used for 5 minutes 2-3 times a day!

This does what I wanted by enabling me to put makeup on at my dressing table on dark winter mornings. It has a useful travel pouch and I would take it on holiday as well as hotel bathrooms are often not well lit. I've deducted a star as I can't leave it on my mirror all the time as the rubber stickers come loose and once the whole thing fell off. Now I keep the detachable back on my mirror and just click the illuminated part on when I want to use it. Magnification is just right for putting on makeup.

One star lost because arrived with only one sucker (of 3) and I had to email twice for replacements.One star lost because not perfect for my requirements due to small mirror (for shaving) and bulky and heavy (for transporting).Bought to use for camping holidays and to take on holidays where no shaving mirror in bathroom. Although not perfect is adequate and the best I could find fore this purpose.Fixes well to smooth surfaces and light and magnification are good.

Having read the reviews for this product I wasn't sure if this was what I wanted, some reviewers felt that the mirror was too small and that the light was not bright enough. However, I took a chance and I'm delighted I did !!The mirror is a reasonable size and has excellent magnification, great for focusing on specific areas on the face. The real star of the show for me, is the LED lighting though - it's perfect ! bright enough to provide extra illumination even in normal (day) lighting.I thought the suction cups and magnetic holder were a fantasic idea, enabling you to adjust and move the position of the mirror easily and without damage. The inclusion of a travel / storage pouch for the mirror completed what was a very happy purchase for me.The mirror arrived with in good time and in good condition.I would happily recommended this product.

At first I attached it to the bathroom tiles but it fell off countless times, without breaking though! Now I leave the suction base on the bathroom window and keep the mirror in the cupboard, attaching it when I need it. So not recommended for shaving or other daily use, although it might stick better on a matt surface.

An excellent little mirror for shaving etc Good illumination, very good magnification and it sits very snugly in its magnetised holder.Highly recommended and at a modest price.

Great addition to the bathroom. Simply use the three suction cups at the back to attach to your existing bathroom mirror. The light is very useful at close range for shaving and other detailed maintenence work :)
