I got this bamboo bath mat to use in an outdoor shower. It sits on top of concrete and works perfectly to let the water drain away and provides a nice feel underfoot. I do wish the connectors weren't plastic, but overall it's perfect for my use.

It doesn't actually absorb much water but that's ok. We have a lot of cats and can't put a fabric mat down or they'll pee on it. This IS easy to clean and keeps us from stepping straight out onto the slippery tile floor. We pick it up to sweep and mop and we're happy with this product.

Every time I get out of the shower and step on this, it reminds me of being at a spa. The bamboo has no odor and dries quickly. All I need is a nice infrared sauna, and I'm all set! It feels good to step on and doesn't move around. I would suggest maybe putting something beneath it like a thin towel to collect water.

I got this mat to use as a bath mat/ dry mat for an outside hot tub. I think it will work perfect. This has a solid build and just unfolds easily. The wood is a solid bamboo wood with little beads in between each rung. It is a good size and can't wait to see what it will look like when completed for my little project.

This is a beautiful mat and a nice addition to bath or sauna. It's reasonably comfortable but not as comfy as a soft padded rug nor is it as absorbent but on the plus side it probably doesn't harbor dust and bacteria the way a soft padded rug does either! I believe it's also reasonably priced but I cannot speak to either how easy it is to clean or how durable because I haven't owned it long enough to be able to judge those aspects.I was skeptical as to whether this would hold a person's weight without breaking because It is joined together with what appears to be plastic spacer/connectors. I'm not sure why they didn't simply use bamboo beads to connect the slats together instead of plastic which would have been preferable from both environmental and durability perspectives. At least then the entire mat would be bamboo and both slats and connectors would age at the same rate. The plastic parts are the only reason I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5.I've noticed that some reviewers complained of the slipperiness of the mat when used inside the shower but I would never have expected it to be used for that purpose in the first place; the description calls it both a mat and a "rug" and I believe is intended for use outside the shower and not in it! As a rug, it's beautiful and does the job intended!

As several other reviewers noted, the pads on the bottom don't have any grip to them. Your feet won't slip on the wood... but the wood will slide all over your bathtub or shower stall. It's better than nothing, but it is no substitute for an actual anti-slip bath mat.And, as one other reviewer noted, at 50cm wide, it is too wide to sit lengthwise in the bottom of all but the largest bathtubs. Save this to keep your feet off the concrete beside your outdoor pool. In my opinion it doesn't belong IN any bathtub or shower. Maybe it was never intended for that purpose?

This is a nice and flexible mat but I prefer the ones where you have a little more space between the top of the mat and the bottom so you have a chance to drain. But very flexible. So easy to roll up.

We have a cat that "marks" on the bathroom rug. We ordered this, hoping that the wood would deter him from doing this. So far, so good. We like the looks for the mat, the materials feel like quality materials. It feels strong and the beads in-between the slats sit flush. We love having a clean/dry place to step after showering. We would recommend this to others, we are considering buying another for the bathtub.
