This 3000 grit sanding sponge is a solid choice for fine finishing and polishing tasks.

Know that the stated grit size is approximately half the printed grit size on the pads, The grit is courser than stated. I purchased, 600, 1000, 2000, and 3000 grit pads. While these pads have a grit size issue, these sanding pads work great for sanding. They level out the pressure where one would get sanding grooves if using paper sanding sheets with fingers. Sanding results using these pads is excellent. They are much more durable than expected, they last a long time.

After purchasing these. I'll never go without them. Highly recommended.

These remove baked on splatter stains from Pyrex that I couldn't remove with scouring powder, bleach, baking soda etc. I've also used these to remove hard water stains from my porcelain sinks that I had given up ever removing. They remove burnt stains from sides & bottom of skillets that the kids created. I love these!

I purchased 400 and 600 grain from Amazon. They sand like 180 and 200 grain sandpaper.Comparing them to the same grains from AK Interactive they are significantly more coarse than 400 and 600 grains due to the very large individual grains.Maybe good for wood but if you are willing to risk it i recommend buying a higher grain count and hoping it works. If you need 400 grain try 1000 or more, if you need 600 grain try 1200 or more.You get what you pay for. I was hoping for polishing level sponge sandpaper.Update: I ordered 3000 grit and 1000 grit and the 3000 is close to 600 grit from AK Interactive and the 1000 grit is a bit more coarse than the 400 grit from AK Interactive.Miniature hobbyists should stick to 1000, 2000 and/or 3000 grit.

In my opinion, these worked better & lasted longer than the 3M name brand ones that cost me around $8 for a 2 pack at an auto parts store!

These pads are a complete waste of money. They don't last for more than 30 seconds of sanding. If I could give 0 stars I would.
