This was exactly what I was looking for because it matched the mailbox that was already in my housing development. It is made out of sturdy metal and has a shiny surface and works for me well.

Not a bad little mailbox for the cost. Does have some holes that could be filled in to prevent bees and spiders from calling it a home but it holds the mail which is most important. We filled in our holes as best we could to keep the bugs out.

I was excited to replace our plastic mailbox with a metal one since our old mailbox fell apart piece by piece until we didn’t even have a door (lol). I ordered this since it was comparable to Lowe’s prices and I didn’t have to lug my toddlers to the store. I thought it was weird when I ordered it off Amazon but it showed up in a Walmart box. Moving on, we installed it and about a month later the flag was found in the road. It’s already fallen apart and had to be wired back together with our own materials. Not super impressed. But the mailbox itself is functioning for the time being.

It’s a standard mailbox. The only reason for 4 stars is it came with a couple dents in it.

I really like the product. The mailbox is sturdy, my SIL says will be easy to install and meets all USPS guidelines. The only catch is it wasn't packed with any cushioning material and USPS damaged the box so the mailbox is slightly damaged. I'm going to keep it and touch up the damaged part with black paint. Otherwise, it's a great buy!
