MK Albany Plus K2958BSS 13A 1-Gang Double Pole Switch Socket

I have these sockets in stainless steel finish in our kitchen. I have the same ones in the hall but they were brass effect and I wanted the same finish as the kitchen. It looks great in the hall.

These are industrial standard. They are extremely solid and excellent quality. Look fantastic.They are expensive, but they are worth every penny because they just last a lifetime. They are also NOT flush so they fit a standard back-box.The stainless steel is coated with some sort of varnish which is extremely hard wearing. Eventually it will be marked by people missing with the plug, but on light switches it just remains perfect indefinitely.I first got these donkey's years ago. To my knowledge they been updated several times since there. First they upgraded the varnish so they don't mark so easily, second they increased the size of the screws holding the wires in place. They are less likely to damage now when you tighten them up.
