Our son is really imprest he hates being hot in bed, I was abit worried when I ordered it as he got his hopes up that it was going to be a miracle blanket! Thank goodness it has lived up to the expectations of it keeping him icy cool all night! Definitely recommend this blanket

I have all bamboo bedding & I do find the sheets, pillow cases & duvet covers help with night sweats, so when the brief heatwave hit in May I grabbed this as the duvet & its covers was too hot & I cannot sleep with nothing to cover me up, so this was idea.It feels so luxurious & silky soft, it’s almost like laying under a layer of liquid (minus getting wet) it’s so smooth & gentle on your skin, but as for keeping me cool, not so much.When you climb underneath the blanket is feels cool & quite refreshing, but within a few minutes it’s the same temperature as you, and if that’s Boil In Your Own Sweat mode (as a menopausal woman this is pretty much a constant at night right now), then that’s exactly what will happen, so I was forever pulling it round the bed to find the cool bit & let the sweaty bit cool off.That said I do still love the blanket, I think it was a huge ask of a piece of fabric to stop this middle aged woman boiling in her own sweat during the night, bamboo can only manage so many miracles at once.I do recommend the blanket, because I have since found another way of utilising it whilst I try not to sweat to death in bed - I now use the bamboo duvet covers without the bamboo duvet, which is cooling, but then if I start to feel chilly when I wake up, I pull this blanket over the top of my empty bamboo duvet cover, & it actually brings my body temperature bck up, but does not boil me.

My wife purchased this for hot flushes, it cools her down straight away, she leaves it on the floor next to the bed and if she needs it throughout the night she grabs it and pulls it into bed.Instantly cools her down, once the blanket is warm, drop it to the floor and give it a little wiggle and it’s back to being cold again.My wife is very impressed with this cooling blanket definitely a good purchase.

It's cold and great to wrap up in when you're having hot flushes or night sweats. Your body temperature does warm it up after a while

I finally got to test this out properly when the hot weather arrived last week. I was disappointed. It really didn't feel any cooler than a normal sheet. When trying it in cooler weather I did notice it felt slightly cool to the touch, but I think unless you store it in the fridge during very hot weather, it just absorbs the heat in the house.

I don't normally do reviews but if helps another warm sleeper get a good night's sleep then here goes. Certainly helped me feel cooler at night. It like reactives when you move again at night so you can still find a fresh cooler area. I can't sleep without a cover and this is enough for the feeling of a blanket.I hope the next person gets along with one
