Great Book Ridiculous Font Size
this must be for fairies and other small woodland creatures cos it sure ain't for human eyesight. Pity the eyestrain wouldnt let me finish it.

Helpful Book for Art history students!
I study with The Open University and this was a set book for one of their modules. Like everyone else has said, this book can get pretty hard to read, what with the ridiculously small font and spacing but honestly once you start reading you stop noticing it. The layout is good and the chroniclogical order makes it easy to navigate as well. All in all a helpful wee book!

Useful for essay writing
This book is very similar to Preziosi's the 'Art of Art History', but it is useful none the less. Fernie writes clear introductions to the texts. An e-book format would be useful.

Book printed using minuscule type - almost unreadable
OK, haven't even delved into this yet (required for a methods of Art History class I'm taking), but here's my initial reaction when opening this book...Phaidon, are you kidding about the size of the type for this entire book? It's literally written in 6 or 8pt type. Forget about reading glasses - I'm going to need a magnifying glass to read this (and I'm not old). Ugh.
