I got it for my mother in law in December. We had 2-3 people working on it. Took us about 2.5 hours to put it up. 2 people can work on it but I recommend a third person to watch your back.The tool box and the manual are very entry level friendly. As long as you’re able to assemble IKEA drawer you’d be able to assemble this giant pergola. Ladder was the only thing we used and not included in the toolbox.So far we’re very happy with the pergola. The details such as the cutting and painting and assembling are very well designed. It’s aluminum with coating so it’s light, it’s strong. Looks great on our deck. We got some snow and rain in January and by closing the blind on top of the pergola can make it waterproof.

We are extremely happy with our decision and it has made a beautiful addition to our swimming pool area.The pergola was shipped quickly and arrived at our home sooner than we expected. The product came in three heavy boxes. It was well packaged so that there weren't any wear marks or scratches. The delivery was very responsible. They not only called us twice to confirm the delivery day and time, but also help us to load the heavy boxes inside of our backyard so we can install it at a later time.The assembly process is super easy and straightforward. Thanks to the well-written instructions and clearly labeled parts. I was able to complete the entire project by myself in one afternoon except for the posts. My wife spent ~15 minutes for holding up posts for me while I connected the top to posts. The installation is very smooth and I didn't have any issues along the way.The quality of the design and materials are top-notch. The aluminum frame feels extremely sturdy and durable. As an engineering background, I can tell the product is well designed, engineered and manufactured. It’s built to last for many years. The louver can be open/close easily with the hand crank. The opening mechanism seems to be sturdy and the powder coating looks very durable. They should hold up for the entire life of the pergola.The louvered design is not only functional but also adds a modern touch to my outdoor space.We have already had many compliments from the neighbors with one placing an order for one himself. We highly recommend this product to everyone who is looking for pergola.

I gotta say, the Mirador 111S Takasho pergola is a total win! Got it for my backyard and I couldn't be happier. First off, putting it together was a breeze. I'm no DIY expert, but the instructions were crystal clear.The wood finish is very classy. It gives my backyard this upscale vibe I never thought I'd have. And the best part is the durability. We've had some crazy weather lately – storms, wind, you name it. This pergola just takes it all like a champ.Now, my backyard's the hotspot for hangouts. Friends love it, and I'm loving the vibe. I will update this after it is assembled but so far it is excellent. It was delivered via a trucking company and they put the pallet into my garage for me. It was on time and communication with the trucking company was awesome. The way it was packaged was truly a work of art and it would require outright negligence to damage this product in transit. I am working alone assembling it so it will take me longer than others purchasers from simply connecting the to main frame together. But the fit and finish of what I got done so far is perfect. If I had help it would be together already. And the instructions are perfectly clear and fool proof. They are ever so slightly different than the ones available here on the product description but better. The most strenuous and exacting part of it was digging holes in the yard and pouring 12 inch sonotube footers while awaiting delivery of the product. A little revisiting my high school geometry paid off in making a perfect 10 x 13 rectangle. The pergola went together without a hitch. Once you build the two longest walls they must be stood up and joined with the 2 shorter beams. I got the long beams with legs stood up and braced by myself but needed help dropping shorter beams into place. Once that was done the louver installation was a breeze. Then checked my measurements for square, plumb and level to bolt to my footings. Not perfect but really close within 3/8 of an inch. Minor difference was not noticeable and did not affect the smooth operation of the louvers. Seems quite sturdy, bolting the legs to the concrete stiffened things up. I would recommend.

My wife and I love this pergola. Held off till they had a sale. Chose the heavy duty 10x13. We bought 2 and attached together for a 13x20 cover. Very heavy box came that I took apart the day before install and carried into back yard. I am 66 and had one helper assist me setting it up. We had both up in 6 hours. Each unit came with an extra louver. Very nice kit and the best organized parts container I have ever seen. I had footings installed before we did pavers for these. Chose to use titan anchors as have heavy Monson winds here. Added the pull down shade on west side. Pricey but well worth it.
