Don’t leave home without it
I’ve been enjoying this piece of gear for months. Just throw it on your lens, set your exposure to 0.0 and click. White balance achieved. Easy! Looking at the wave form in my scopes tell the story of how accurate and easily this thing assists with white balance. Mind you it’s not 100% but I’d say about 98-99% accurate leaving minimal adjustment needed in post. Just point it at your light source or scene and click…done. Awesome tool and compact and easy to store with all of your other gear. This is something I would not leave home without.

Expodisc upgrade. V3 is an improvement over V1 and V2. Its major improvement is in being designed for use in the manner that they best used (Held over the lens, not clipped onto the lens).

Una maravilla!
Es un instrumento fabuloso para balancear blancos, extremadamente exacto, el color de piel resulta auténtico. Antes tuve un disco genérico más económico y funcionaba bien pero el expodisc es por mucho más exacto. Sólo tienes que colocarte en el lugar del sujeto que vas a fotografiar y tomar una foto apuntando tu cámara hacia la luz principal o más intensa que ilumina tu sujeto y listo. Es caro pero lo vale.
