One of the Best jumping on points.
I’ve been meaning to read more Fantastic Four books for some time. I’d read some here and there, until I found Mark Waid’s run and everything just clicked for me. Now I feel more reading to do more exploring with Marvel’s first family.

Here's the Weiringo Art.
Here's the Weiringo Art. Also, Waid simply nails the adventurers part. Would not mind seeing Millar's contemporaneous Ultimate FF join the mix, along with, on the DC end, an omnibus of that great Buseik Pacheco "Superman" run that did not last long. Add in Loeb and Mcguinness on Supes/Bats, you then have the best age of comics in recent memory before the recent advent of fauz serious from the "comics aren't just for kids" people who forget that comics can be grand and adult in so many ways, from ABC's Moore Tom Strong (pure / square-jawed) to the darker material... not everything is grim and gritty.

Great run
The Fanatstic Four are my favorite aspect of the Marvel universe and this run by Mark Waid does them justice but it ends quite abruptly on a low note.

Good Stuff
While not as well written (in my opinion) as Hickman's run, I personally feel that this is a much better entry point for anyone interested in getting into the Fantastic Four. The artwork of the late Mike Wieringo is also a joy to be had when reading this particular phase in the FF's long and storied existence.
