Yuneec YUNFCAUS Breeze Compact Smart Drone Ultra HD 4K Video, White with Bluetooth Controller

I just removed my last post on the Yuneec Breeze. (1) I believe that the biggest problem with the Drone is lack of information on the Drone, (2) Not enough instructions from the maker of drones. I am on my 4th Yuneec Breeze, and now that I have a better understanding on the operation of it, I realize, that only one of the three breeze drones I sent back had a problem, and one was old and not a new drone. The other two was lack of operation and how to fly it. First we need to make checklists on operations, (one for out door operation, the other for indoor operation). U-Tube has lots of information but you need to review so many on the breeze, to understand your problem with flying it. (1) you must do a compass calibration) (2) know how to connect to Wi-Fi, bluetooth and the controller. Note! do not fly indoors with out disabling GPS and only in pilot mode, if you forget to disable the GPS it will crash. Flying outdoors you need more then 10 satellites. Land that Drone when power is less the 25%. Read all Notice and warnings. Instructions on the Breeze App are needed so you don't have to fly by trial and error. You can only fly the Breeze with the controller in Pilot and selfie mode. Learn how to understand about the Phone Breeze Cam. Listen to all the help on the Breeze drone on U-Tube.Now I am flying my Breeze Drone and enjoying it very much. Thanks you all on U-Tube for all that Information on the Breeze. WARNING: Take your home Wi-Fi off auto connect, Its stronger then the breeze Wi-Fi and could reconnect and you will loose control of the drone.

I ignored the bad reviews and I absolutely regret it. Do not buy this drone lol. Go with dji... the battery won’t charge, just flashes green in standby mode. This has happened to SEVERAL other people. Literally do not buy this product go for a better drone, don’t make the same mistake as us.-Editwas able to get my money back after they hassled me and tried to get me to come back and change my review. Very unprofessional.

This is my 1st drone & I had problems connecting to it at first. I waiting until my son paid me a visit & he had it all working in about ten minutes so I was not doing something correct to get it all connected. Now I fly it almost every day & it is very simple to use. 1st I turn the drone power on, go to wi fi settings & select Breeze. Once the wifi is connected, then I pull up the app & select the controller & then it connects to the controller by blue tooth. After that, it is ready to fly away. Works great & I love the quality videos, but I had to change the settings from 4K to 1080p with digital stabilization. With that setting the videos are mush smoother in flight & is still top quality from my view. I highly recommend this product, especially for a beginner like myself.

Battery is dead. Only been able to use thanks to neighbor having a battery.

I bought one of these from another vendor and loved the drone. very easy to learn and very easy to fly. My kid accidentally landed it in the pool so that was that. I came back to amazon to buy another but the previous vendor did not have any available so I purchased one from here as this was the only vendor available. From day 1 it refuses to calibrate and hence would not fly. Regardless of how fully charged my batteries are, I get a message that "insufficient battery to complete compass calibration". I even went through the 3-step calibration one day and then got calibration failed. Contacted vendor and till today have never gotten a reply. Yuneec is no help...waited 3hours on hold one day when it said i was the next caller on queue only to hang up on me. I'm not saying its the drone because the first one worked like a charm for over a year until the mishap. So I will not be buying or recommending this drone. Im just going to buy a DJI Mavic

Nice drone, low learning curve to learn to fly it. Crashed twice due to app freezing (using old phone) and drone survived with 0 damageImpressed with pictures ,the resolution is surprisingly high.Video can be shaky as no gimbal but with smooth flying its decent.Controls are smooth, flight speed is fast, good rotation. Great stability in really fast winds, Make sure to use a newer device to control ( app may crash on older android versions)Overall would highly recommend to learn on and get the feel of drone photo/video work

The Breeze drone flies the easiest of any other beginner quad I've flown. The app is simple and easy to pick up and use. The camera quality for stills and video is enough for the average person who just wants to do short vacation videos and still shots. Great piece of tech for the price point, and probably the best deal on an entry level semi-autonomous flying camera in the market.The only thing keeping this listing from 5 stars is that some of the listed sellers will only sell the drone at this price point only, not the extra controller.The leading picture implying a full package deal can be misleading for the average shopper.

Didn't come with the remote control (as description showed), and one of the propellers was damaged. I understand it's refurbished, but damaged propeller should've been replaced.

Habe die Drohne als Retourartikel bei Amazon gekauft mit Controller.Konnte keine Mängel feststellen, sie macht was versprochen wurde.Akku lädt sehr schnell auf (deutlich unter 60 min, eher 30 min). Andere brauchen hier mehrere Stunden.Flugzeit variiert je nach Flugstil, 10-15 min sind aber allemal drin. Ich empfehle mindestens einen zweiten Akku dazu. Der Wechsel dauert nur Sekunden.Die Drohne ist äußerst robust. Hatte einmal einen massiven Crash, bei dem auch einige Teile abgeflogen sind. Diese konnten jedoch einfach wieder eingeklippt werden, zerstörte Rotoren können leicht mit den beiliegenden Ersarzrotoren ersetzt werden (vorausgesetzt man hat das nötige Werkzeug dafür, kleine Schraubendreher wie z.b. fürs Auseinanderbauen vom Smartphone).Verbinden von Drohne, Smartphone und Controller funktionieren nicht immer auf Anhieb.Wichtig: Beim Controller beim Herstellers die neueste Software erfragen. Ich vermisste bei mir eine Funktion des Controllers und habe auf Nachfrage die aktuelle Software erhalten, die diese Funktion dann beinhaltete.Zusätzlich gab's auf Anfrage sogar noch eine gratis Plakette für die Drohne mit eingravierten Besitzerdaten (Kennzeichnung von Dröhnen ist in Deutschland gesetzlich vorgeschrieben).Nachtrag: Ich konnte die Drohne in 2018 ausgiebig testen. Sie lässt sich sehr einfach steuern und die Bilder sind super. Nach der Winterpause habe ich sie nun reaktiviert (04/2019). Leider war einer der Akkus defekt.Amazon hat mir die Zurücksendung des kompletten Sets gegen eine Erstattung angeboten, was ich auch angenommen habe. habe mir die Drohne nun nochmal als Warehouse-Produkt gekauft und zusätzlich noch einen dritten Akku.Trotz des Akkus gebe ich weiterhin eine klare Kaufempfehlung.Tipp bei Problemen mit dem WLAN:1. Das Smartphone ohne Hülle verwenden (die hülle kann das Siganl ggf. schwächen)2. Smartphone im Flugmodus betreiben (nur mit WLAN)3. Automatischen WLAN-Netz-Wechsel im Smartphone deaktivieren

Sehr gute Bilder, Funktionalität ok. Leider gibt es immer wieder Verbindungsprobleme und die Akkus halten nicht sehr lange durch.
