Arrived on time, intact, factory sealed. Expensive, but hey: you didnt buy the salt system to save money.

We had issues with the spa, did a lot of trouble shooting, and ultimately called for service on our unit. The service tech looked everything over and concluded that we needed to change the cell. When we told him that it was a new cell, he concluded that it was faulty. He put a new one in and it worked fine. Fast forward four months, we changed the cell and it worked fine. Another four months and time to change the cell again. We have ANOTHER bad cell! So two of the three cells were no good. $300 for a set of three and two of them are faulty. Very disappointing to not be able to remedy this situation. Basically, you get one month to make a return, but how would we have known?

We purchase this 3- pack Freshwater Salt System Cartridges every year for our saltwater spa. They get replaced every 4 months. We save money purchasing here on Amazon. They are more expensive at our local spa shop. It is the style and brand that came with our spa when it was purchased. so we continue to purchase the same, because it works.

Don't use generic. Your system will love the original. After two years I finally understand what this cartridge does. It monitors and electrically zaps the salt to make chlorine. Just the right amount. No need to ever shock your tub with chlorine.Get a digital salt monitor and pH meter. There are 30 dollar all in one units you just dip in the tub.
