Not as long lasting/hard as previous orders
I’ve been buying the medium size of this product for months for my puppy. They have lasted her approx. 4-5 days. Now that she’s a bit bigger I purchased the larger size hoping they’d last a day or so longer. She’s demolished 2 in less than 2 hours each. Not sure if they changed the recipe for making these or what, but they appear to be much softer. I won’t be able to afford to buy these anymore if this is the case. ☹️

Cheese, oh what wonderful cheese
I learned about Yak Chews when my labrador was a puppy. We fostered her for a guide dog organization and she was less than 3 months old when I took her to the first event ... selling calendars outside of a market. I had no idea how challenging it would be and didn't take anything to keep her occupied except a few small treats and a chew toy that held almost no interest for her. One of the other attendees noticed my distress and handed me a Yak Chew. She literally chewed it for the next three hours and I learned the value of a good Yak Chew. When the event was over, I handed him back a few pieces. I had no idea how expensive they were. In any case, there is nothing like it. Though my dogs now settle well, there is nothing like a good Yak Chew to keep them quiet and engaged for extended periods of time. These are good ones, just the right size for their grown up bodies. I especially like the ingredient list ... simple dairy and no meat or disgusting meat parts that are usually a part of dog treats. I'm a vegetarian and though I don't try to force my eating on my dogs, these are just so easy for me to take with me and feel fin holding them. I don't think there is a better treat for both engagement, time/focus and quality ingredients.
