Yet another battery with inflated capacity rating (so what else is new?)
The EBL 18650 Lithium Rechargeable Batteries (this product) arrived with ~3.75V terminal voltage, meaning they are ~50% charged. I fully recharged two cells on my XTAR VC4 charger before testing. [Capacity Matters]To measure the capacity of each EBL Li-ion battery, I connected a 5-ohm power resistor as load, and monitored the output voltage and current over time. See the discharge curves (Current vs Time) on the chart I uploaded. Observe that both cells delivered just around 2000mAh, before their output voltages dropped below 3.0V. This falls short of the advertised 3000mAh capacity.Just for reference, the Odec 18650 cell (here) is rated 2600mAh, yet it delivered ~2630mAh under identical test conditions. To be fair, those EBL 18650 are not the worst batteries I have tested. Base on my experience so far, 90% of the lithium-ion rechargeable batteries I purchased from Amazon are sold under grossly inflated capacity numbers. See my uploaded chart of ‘Advertised vs. Measured Capacity’ for a summary.[Weight Matters]I compared the weights of various 18650 Li-ion cells, using my electronic kitchen scale:- Odec 2600mAh (measured ~2630mAh)): 47g- LiCB '6800mAh' (measured ~2350mAh): 45g- EBL '3000mAh' batteries (measured ~2000mAh): 44.5g- Probe Shiny '3200mAh' (measured ~1150mAh): 36g- MuchBuy '9800mAh' (measured ~1125mAh: 36g- STAND HIGH '5000mAh' (measured ~1210mAh): 35.5g- USB Batter '3800mAh' (measured ~900mAh): 32.5g- UltraFire '6800mAh' (measured ~420mAh): 31.5gSo we can see there is a positive correlation between weight and actual capacity of a battery.[Bottom Line]The EBL 18650 batteries are advertised as 3000mAh, but they can only deliver 2000mAh under my most undemanding test conditions. I’m sick and tired of finding so many off-brand batteries on Amazon with inflated capacity numbers. I have already sent those batteries back for a refund. Hopefully if enough people do the same, Amazon will finally take action against products sold under false advertisements. World Peace and Cure for Common Cold will soon follow… (Hey, we can always dream)

Great battery at right price.
Have bought a dozen of these in 2 orders. TheY have all registered 4.22 volts at end of charge, and very near 2,800 mah. I have not have any fail so far. The price is right, and would buy again. I am using them in cree l.e.d. flashlights, from 1 t6 to a 18 l.e.d. t6.

About 2100-2200 maH, so pretty good for such a low price.
I'm seeing capacities of 2100-2200 maH, so these seem to be pretty good batteries. Although it's possible they're cheap because they don't last many cycles, in which case I'll come back and reduce the stars. Right now I have a pretty good opinion of them, just taking off one star because of the inflated 3000maH claim on the label.

PERFECT VENDOR....perfect set of batteries..
Initially two of the six batteries got quite warm with use. My less than five star review prompted quick action by the vendor with a full new set of batteries sent as replacement. They, all six now work perfectly! I have been a Prime member on Amazon for decades. NEVER BEFORE HAVE i EXPERIENCED A VENDOR MAKING SUCH AN EFFORT TO SATISFY A CUSTOMER. My gratitude all around.

Tested capacity is closer to 2200mah, but still decent value.
These seem well made, come with nice cases. They are labeled at 3500mah and like most of these lower cost cells, are a lie. Tested capacity is around 2200mah which is typical for middle road cells like these. Only the $10/cell Panasonic cells labeled at 3400mah actually test to their stated capacity. That said, these are decent for the price, much better than the yellow "Surefire" brand which state 5000mah and test at 1000mah.Edit- EBL contacted me and offered a partial refund since the product was not up to the labeled capacity, I accepted. I think this was a very nice gesture!

Decent inexpensive batteries (measured at about 2000 mAh)
I tested these batteries on a Li-Ion charger normally used for RC model batteries. It shows a capacity of about 2000mAh. Thus these is pretty good for an inexpensive battery. However, this measured capacity is much less than the labelled 3000mAh, so I docked it one star.

These don't work, came dead and stay that way
Took me a while (2 months or so) to burn up the batteries I had, but by the time I pulled these out of their handy little boxes all seem to have arrived dead as can be. Put them on a charger, and they will take a charge, but die as soon as I put them in my flashlight. Total waste of time and money. I got some AAA's as well from this same company and all had the same problem. I did't check them when they arrived, just assumed they would be charged like any other normal battery you buy. EBL seems to make terrible batteries... Buy otherwise

Five Stars
Seller replaced broken batteries, so they cared about the service which deserves a good review. The price of the batteries are really affordable given the fact that 6 is under 20; this you rarely see with 18650 batteries unless they are useless but these batteries are actually really good and functional. Being at around 3 dollars for each battery, you just cannot beat that deal.

Seems to be the best battery to dollar ratio for li-ion in my personal experience. Mostly use them in flashlights and they last a pretty good while.

BEWARE FAKE 9900mah and 9800mah batteries!
These took forever to charge! That's a GOOD thing! Why? Because there are so many rip offs! DO NOT EVER BUY A 18650 THAT CLAIMS ANYTHING OVER 3600mah!

I have discovered that they are all bad batteries and won't hold a charge
These will not keep charge, after making sure all were fully charged before usage and trying all to make sure that it wasn't just a fluke with a couple, I have discovered that...

Doesn’t work with my mod.
Batteries arrived in nice packaging, but they didn’t work for my mod. I have the asmodus minkin v2. The mod would say low battery when shown to be 100% charged.

More Exagerated Capacities, Low Quality Cells (High Internal Resistance)
Fake Capacities...again. You know the drill. Manufacturer xyz buys a lot of batteries, then relabels for whatever they feel like.

2400 mAh battery, not 3000mAh as advertised but a good buy for the quantity you get.
The price is good on these batteries but mAh rating is not the 3000 they advertise. I have an Xtar VC2 charger.

These cells work well in my dual-350W motor electric skateboard.
I used 20 of these cells to construct a 2P/10S (37V) battery pack for my dual 350W-motor electric skateboard, and the performance was very good for the price.
