High quality.
I bought one of these and it worked so well in the 60 plus holes for a project, that I bought two others to keep in other areas of the shop (it’s two floors). Considering that I bought this because I needed it quickly and it seemed ok, rather than the more expensive taps I usually have, I was surprised at the quality. I don’t like giving five stars as it looks like a paid review. But now, after having used these many times (it’s a size I use a lot), I’ve decided to up it to five stars. I can’t find anything wrong to deduct a star for.

Seems to be quality. Use cutting oil.
Used this to tap into 8020 aluminum so not hard stuff but previously I tried with combination drill/tap and it broke off on the first try (aluminum is already drilled, yes?).With this I used cutting oil which I didn't use with the drill/tap, so maybe that is what made it better but either way, this seems to be quality. Be slow and careful!

Cuts great
I am using this on 6061 Aluminum ant it cut 30 plus holes like butter. All I did was thread it into the hole and never backed up until it was bottomed out. Great tap

Excellent tap
Excellent performance with the 1/4-20 version of this tap. I purchased it to tap a series of holes in 1/4" 316 steel plate as well as 6061 aluminum. The tap set from the hardware store was simply not cutting it, and a different (expensive) tap snapped off in a trial hole. This tap was like butter. A few drops of Tap Magic cutting fluid and it sped through the stainless holes with ease using a T handle. When tapping the stainless, for every 1/2 turn I reversed it 1/4 turn to clear any chips and ensure no breakage. When tapping the aluminum there was much less resistance and reversing was not needed.

Never dulls!
I have taped over 20 holes all the way through 1 inch thick steel plate and it is still as sharp as it was new!

When Cutting Steel, Use This
I was trying to tap a 1" deep hole in cold rolled steel with a traditional hardened steel tap. It was slow, even with Tap Magic cutting fluid and I feared that I might break the tap. Removing broken taps can be fiendishly difficult; I have done it successfully once. This turned what would have been an hour, frightening task into 10 minutes of not at all worrisome work. I have yet to use it in aluminum but I suspect that it will be miraculous. One warning: it is nominally 1 3/8" long but being a spiral point means you will get a bit less than that before you reach bottom. I used a 1/4"-20 thumbscrew to finish the cut to 1 3/8" depth.
