1Pair Replacement Ear Pads Earpads for Sony MDR-DS6500 MDR-RF860R Headphones (Black)

In my opinion these are not as good as the originals the Sony headphones came with, but they will do. I would have given them 5 stars if it was not for the bit sliding onto the headphones and holding them in place, it seems on the a little bit too short to me. About 2 mm longer and they would have got 5 stars because the lip would fit into the groove and not want to pop out. Having said that, I am happy with them and will buy again if these are worn out.

My original earpads were very old and these replacements were the only ones I could find. Initially in the packet I though the size was a bit flat and round but once I got the old ones off I could see they were the same size. Fitting them started off a bit fiddly - the first one took me about 10 minutes. Once I'd worked out I should use a credit card to insert the bit around the sides the second one took about 2 mins.It's been many years since I've worn these with earpads that weren't falling apart and it feels a bit different but I think that is because I was so used to how the worn out ones felt. They are comfortable to wear but are less breathable than the originals. The materials quality feels better, more robust and long lasting. I think once they have been broken in after a few weeks they'll be even better. Overall I'm pleased with these.

I managed to fit these replacements with a bit of tucking in & stretching . I think that unless your a bit DIY it not that straightforward. But saying that I am pleased with the end result

Had these headphones years and use them every day. First time buying non Sony replacements. The original Sony replacements are expensive and don't seem to last long at all.Just received these today and have to say the build quality is superior to the originals. Much thicker covering. They don't have the slightly angled profile of the originals, but I can live with that.

I was hesitant to order these earpads as they are not Sony original. My doubts were misplaced as I find them equally as comfortable and good in cancelling surrounding noise. I won't hesitate to buy again.

It is OK what you cost. Not 100 fit but works. Take a bit time to fit in.

They fit the headphones perfectly , and were not too difficult to fit, (with help of butter knife ! ) Good replacement ear pads .
