This book is simply the best for natural bodybuilding Training. John Hansen lays it all out there for you in his book:- First, he provides you with a Beginner Training program, if you're a beginner to weight training. All the basics are there for anyone to follow.- Next, he gives you an Intermediate Training program for the follow-on. Again, all the steps are there to show you the next level.- Then last, he provides you with an Advanced Training program. This is the final and best part. He shows you:2 Cycles: First, a 6-week (two connected 3-week mini-cycles) power/strength cycle. Next, a short 1-week Deload. Then, a 6-week (two connected 3-week mini-cycles) muscle-building cycle. Last, a 1-week Deload.After that, you simply repeat.John Hansen includes everything you need & want in the book itself for this Training. This is not a work-out book. Rather, a real in-the-gym bodybuilding Training book. He includes it all for you. Nothing is missed or left out.What's best for me is that John Hansen is so forthright & honest in the book -- he lays everything out there for you. You never sense he's holding something back.I've read and re-read the book many, many times, and continue to do so throughout my Training. It's my go-to source. Everything I need is there.Additionally, John Hansen continues to personally coach people if one wanted to reach out to him for that style of commitment. Or he'll answer further questions about this MP6 book for any clarification needed through email.Again, this is a great Training book for natural bodybuilding - I've found no better. Awesome book. Awesome program - GET IT!
Excellent book - well written and concise with no filler. There is so much information out there regarding fitness and weight training (with a large sprinkling of BS) that it's easy to get lost in the overload. John is a natural bodybuilder and comes from many years of experience regarding advice FOR the natural bodybuilder. There are no marketing gimmicks and flashy pictures here - only good, solid advice and information.I found John by accident - saw one of his interviews on YouTube where he mentioned the MP6 program. Everything he was saying in the interview made sense, so I sought out more info about him. I am a huge fan of the golden--era (esp pre golden era) bodybuilders. All of the pre-steroid guys with great physiques say the same thing. Train heavy. To get bigger, you must get stronger. Natural lifters have to train differently than chemically enhanced ones. John's physique reminds me of Reg Park's and Arnold's. John is in his 50's now and looks like he's barely aged from his early photographs when he was in his 20's! He's won many prestigious competitions and graced the cover of IronMan, is a well known statesmen in the fitness community, and had done this all as a NATURAL lifter, with consistent training all these years. If you don't know a lot about him, look him up - his physique, results and career are enough by themselves to validate giving this book a look.I am not someone who likes 'pre-written' programs. The thing I LOVE about this workout program is you can make the exercise selection your own, and the set / rep / cycles are set up in a way where you are almost guaranteed to make strength and mass gains (provided you are taking care of your nutrition, sleep etc).. I'm in the third week of my first power cycle and it's bad-ass to go to the gym and know EXACTLY what I'm going to be doing that day.I hope to report back soon once I've gone through a full Power / Mass cycle about the actual results, but I can already say I know things are working!

Excellent Advice - buy with confidence
Excellent book written by an experienced natural Bodybuilding expert. John’s progression system is so simple yet brilliant and easy to use (use a training diary to plan and record your target reps and poundages!!!). I am 50 and getting stronger every week.Thank you John Hansen for being so straightforward and honest!!

Many workout programs I have tried seem to be just a bunch of random exercises thrown together. The MP6 Workout is an easily understood workout plan that can be put to use in the gym quickly. John clearly explains the exercises, the benefits, and and the reasons "why". I am not a bodybuilder, however, I have been able to implement the MP6 Workout to establish a goal, a clear blueprint, and purpose when I enter the gym. Combined with a clean eating program, I am quickly seeing improvements in my strength, health, and appearance.

Expert advice
This is a fantastic book and very well written. There is no bs here, no filler. John knows what he is talking about. He is not a flash in the pan guru or one and done competitor. He is the real deal. He has been in this sport for a long time and has competed and won at the highest levels. He lays the workout programs out perfectly and makes them easy to follow. I highly recommend this book to everyone who is wanting to take their physique and workouts to the next level.

Outstanding Semper FI from a 65 year old.
I gained a bit of size after 6 weeks. A bit hard on my joints elbow and knees. But going to press on.Great work outs. And a very good book.
